You'd have to contact Dick Beebe and ask.

If they actually had one, they might.
Terry Fitzwater has been trying to negotiate with them, but that has been the big stickling point. No one has a REAL subscribers list, as to the actual number. That's why no one can do anything to help keep it alive. You can't offer a price for something when you don't have an actual number to work with, to offer a price.
It's too bad, that paper was my lifeline to local short track racing when I was a kid.

Just think if we didn't!!!
After Pat passed, things just were not the same. That is tough, tough stuff that every one of us have had to deal with at one time or another. Trying to get through one day is hard, let alone the rest of your life, and a business, that she had an intrical part in.
I planned my day around the mail delivery when I was a kid, just waiting for the Marc Times. But I also started to get disappointed with it too, in the latter years.
Terry has a great paper, and strongly supports all of our local race tracks. Unless we want to lose this paper too, we need to support him also.

I will be creating a subforum on here for anyone that writes/wrote a column for the Marc Times to continue to do so here at the MSTRC.

Sometimes you just have to drive it. You don’t ask, you just drive. If you want to make excuses for not being successful you can do that, or you can just go out there and put it all on the line for the win.– Brad Keselowski

They would have to have a Subscribers List!
How else did people get their Marc Times in the mail every week?

he rubbed some promoters the wrong way. It happens in the media business. But I always respected him for voicing his opinion. Some I agreed with and some I didn't.
I wrote several articles for Dick years ago but then switched to the National glossy magazines.
I believe there are very few racers who can say that the Marc Time's never touched their hands over the years. He did a great job of covering races from all over and I sometimes marveled at how he could cram so much into a small paper.
Sad to see but times are changing I guess ( and no pun intended either ).

I wonder if he will issue a refund for issues not delivered? Roger had just renewed several months ago.
I myself had a magazine go out of business (House and Garden) and I was subscribed until 2012. With the economy the way it is. It might be a good thing not to get too far ahead on any of your subscriptions.
Too bad about the Marc Times.....our garage of full of them. National Speed Sport News is also a good weekly and covers all racng. Our garage is full of those too.

I know a bit off topic but it paralells your though on paying those subscriptions to far in advance......
I was reading one time about a magazine dedicated to informing people about "The End Times". They published a bi-monthy magazine.........they sent out to their subscribers those renewal forms and with them the option to subscribe for a lifetime!!!!!!! Uhm, hey what's wrong with that picture????
But, on keeping with the topic, I'm sad to see it go. Over the years I'd grab one every week at the track or wherever I could find one. It's too bad really. But, thanks to the "Flounder" he's made an outlet for all those columnists yearning to spew!!!
