Classic Car Cruise Night at the Races is THIS Friday, July 30th at Dixie.

Birch Run, Michigan (Tuesday, July 27, 2010): THIS Friday, July 30th at the Dixie Motor Speedway Presented by Draper Auto Group will be the annual Classic Car Cruise Night at the Races Presented by Novak's Supply and Equipment as the fans in the grandstands will have the chance to check out some great looking classic vehicles of yesteryear in the parking lot before and during the races.

Then everyone will get to watch them in a special parade around the 4/10s mile at Intermission and vote for their favorite Classic Vehicle.

On the track, the 4/10s (0.400) mile progressively banked d-shaped paved oval will be a busy place one more time as the Speedway Grafix Pro Late Models, O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds, and RacerChic.us Pro Stocks are all on the card.

On the adjoining 1/3 (0.333) mile semi-banked paved oval the Birch Run / Bridgeport Herald Bombers will have the inner oval all to themselves for the night as the Mike's Auto Parts Figure 8s will wrap things up once again on the inner Figure 8s track.

The RacingPartSales.com Street Stocks get the night off, but will return to action on Friday, August 6th as part of BIG ONE VIII with the third jewel of the Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series for the Outlaw Super Late Models; and the second appearance of 2010 by the Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints Series.

For Friday, July 30th, Ticket Prices are: Adults (18-59) $12.00 - Seniors (60 and Over) $10.00 - Teens (13-17) $8.00 - Children (6-12) $5.00 - Kids (5 and Under) FREE - Pit Passes $25.00.

The Pit Gates will open at 2:00p.m., with Practice Beginning at 3:00p.m. The Grandstands Open at 5:00p.m., as Qualifying starts at 5:15p.m. Racing is set for 7:30p.m.


Coming Up on Friday, August 6th will be the Biggest Single Day Event in Michigan as BIG ONE VIII is almost here! The Third and Final Jewel of the Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series for Outlaw Super Late Models as well as the Fire Breathing, Winged Warriors of the Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints Series will Co-Headline a HUGE Night of Racing featuring the best of both worlds when it comes to Stock Car and Open Wheel Racing.

BIG ONE VIII also starts a HUGE Weekend of Racing in Birch Run, Michigan that will end on Sunday, August 8th with ServPro of Saginaw Presenting the Muffler Man Eve of Destruction Series Round III.

Yes Chuck. There will be a section of the Parking Lot roped off for the Classic Vehicles. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Should be a great show.

Also a "small" Owosso Speedway invasion is expected in the Pro Late Models.
