The Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club (MARFC) is pleased to announce that our next Fan Club Day will be at Springport Motor Speedway this Saturday night, July 31st. The 3/8 mile high banked facility offers some of the best pavement in the state and is considered "Michigan's Ideal Speedway". Like always, current 2010 Fan Club members will receive free grandstand admission by showing their membership card at the ticket window. Thanks to promoter Maurice Randall for providing this opportunity for our members.

Springport Motor Speedway has Autograph night with the MCR Dwarfs, GLS Mini Cups, Oliver's Collision Pony Stocks, Venom Stocks, and the always entertaining Spectator Drags racing this Saturday evening. Gates open at 5 PM with racing at 7:30. The track is also inviting all former Michigan Ideal Speedway drivers from 1989-1998 by providing a free pit pass, so this is a great opportunity to see some long lost friends.

Please show your appreciation for the free admission by visiting the concessions for some great track food and the souvenir stand for a program, shirt or hat.

Membership in the MARFC is an affordable $10 for an individual membership, and only $15 for a family. Benefits include free admission to 18 fantastic racing events this season thus making the Fan Club the best value in racing, bar none. Considering that the regular ticket price for Springport is $10, you can see that the membership would easily pay for itself in just one night and you still have 5 more great events to look forward to the rest of this season. While we are all looking forward to the Saturday July 31st MARFC night, the Sunday, August 1 MARFC date at Springport that was also scheduled has regrettably been cancelled.
