People look at the counts for last night. If you were not at Springport last night you were missing the best short track show in the state. It had to be the most cars I have seen at a track in a long time. Awesome show and run well. Great job Springport racers fans and track crews.

I HAVE NOT BEEN TO SPRINGPORT IN QUITE A FEW YAERS BECAUSE OF ALL THE ISSIES THEY HAVE HAD AND NO CARS. BUT WE ARE GOING TO COME OUT NEXT SATURDAY AND CHECK IT OUT. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A TRACK CLOSE ON SATURDAYS THAT I DONT HAVE DRIVE SO FAR. ALSO SOMEONE TOLD THEY ARE HAVING SPRINTS ON PROGRAM NEXT WEEK ALONG WITH THE REG CLASSES . ANYONE KNOW IF THAT IS TRUE. DENNY BAILEY

Unfortunately Denny, the sprints will not be there this weekend, Tim is still working with them to get a date this year but it has not came to pass as of yet, But if car counts continue to grow every week as they have it will be another great show.

Saturday was a great show at SMS!!!! It was great to see so many cars there. It was the first time that I had to park in the third row!! The thing is you really haven't been doing anything super special to get the car and the crowd count up! What you have done is remained consistant, followed through with what you said you were going to do and treated people with respect. HUH??? Who knew if you just used common sense and treated the people that are paying your bills nicely that good things would happen. Don't let out your trade secret or the other tracks might try to steal it!! NAH! That ain't going to happen there to used to doing things ass backwards!!! Keep up the great job SMS crew!!!!
Oh yeah and was I surprised to see "Gentleman Jim Bennett" in the tech barn!! I used to watch him run at the "Burg" when I was a kid!!

Something "special" must be happening because SMS is "abuzz" lately. I'll be there next week as a spectator and maybe I'll bring a friend or 2. I can't wait until I can get back out on the track.....
I'm thankful that SMS is moving in a positive direction.
