I would like to announce that Gary & Donna Howe have purchased the M-40 Speedway in Jones Mi from the Brown family. Gary and Donna own and operate Kalamazoo Speedway.

Gary's plan is to run the schedule as posted, with a few exceptions.

Sounds like a win-win situation for everyone including the racers and the fans.

Best of luck in 2007 to the Brown and Howe families as they continue to promote and enhance short track racing.

I'm looking forward to an opportunity for my first visit to M-40 (I've heard all good things about that raceway) I've had great racing experiences at the Zoo and Gary and Donna have done a great job there. 2007 is looking up!

Best of luck to Gary and Donna. Running 2 tracks is quite an undertaking but if anyone can pull it of, it will be the Howes.

To answer your question Mod4, Gary told me today that he is going to stay with the schedule that has already been planned and posted. That would include the USA Mods, ISMA, and the open wheel class yet to be determined.
