im going somewhere else to race before i pay 30.00 to get in to this place.lets think about this.going to owosso means no fair racing,because there isnt any teching going on.which means the fans arent happy with the show so they dont want to come there.we already pay money to go towards points funds that we're not going to get.but please bring your car out and race tell all your friends to come so the track can stay open but in the mean time allow us to screw all the drivers and fans over every week.then come and tell us we cant figure out why the car counts are down and there isnt any butts in the seats.sounds like the saturday place not to race to me.

Has anyone thought that maybe they set the prices up for next week when the Sprints are there?
Sometimes people do that ahead of time?
I'm sure the pits will be more with sprints there and of course the front gate will be.

Was the pits more for the supers? I didn't buy a pit pass so I don't know.

What was the front gate price? Last week it was $15 cause of fireworks and the super race it was $18.

the pit prices we're raised last week because of the tug of war.which the track didnt pay out anything for the tug of war they made money off the tug of war and the fundraiser.it was a free show to add to the nightly events and for the fans for a fund raiser.and the fans ended up paying for it.it was advertised as 10.00 adults and when people showed up they we're told at the gate 15.00.there again lets upset the fans and then ask yourself why theres no fans in the stands.

How did they run off with the fundraising money when the Amvets had their own person going around selling raffle tickets?

I personally didn't see any advertising on the tug of war so can't comment if they were to pay anything or not. I thought it was a collosal waste of time.

So the fireworks didn't make a difference for the pricing at the front gate? Do you know how much that cost to get someone to do?
I wasn't happy when I came through the gate either but I paid it..and there was plenty of fans in the stands. Were you there?

How did the cars that got DQ'd last week get DQ'd if there was no teching going on? I know the couple weeks before they weren't doing it but supposily are doing it again.

they should have never allowed them to run to begin with.there is a couple of cars that are illegal and they know it and still allow them to run.but anyways was a little upset earlier and needed to vent but as we all know it never does any good because the track wont listen to drivers or fans so what the hell.just wanted it to be know a few things that are going on.im through with this

I have never paid more than $25.00 for a pittpass, not last week at Owosso, not ever.

We have also never paid more than $25 for pit passes at Owosso even with special shows, always the same price for pit passes. And yes we were there last weekend and only paid $25 for each. Where are you getting your incorrect info??

You are right, many fans were upset with the increase at the gate but I do think that was for the fireworks show which is very costly!

But it sounds like a case of sour grapes on your part about the track. Don't know what car you drive or work on so don't know why quite frankly doesn't matter we've all been pissed off at one time or another.

I believe Rick Gokee explained his position on the dq cause it was his first night there was a grey area. Happens.
Pat Dent who was dq'd for refusing to go through tech knew the last time he was there to fix it before he came back, he didn't. Who knows with Leroy he should know better.

they shouldnt have allowed the bigos kid to race at spartan either with the laundry list of things to fix But THE TECH THERE MAKE THE CALLS AND HAVE THE BALLS NOT SOME GROUP OF ANGRY PROTESTERS OUTSIDE THE TECH BARN AND THEY CLOSE THE DOORS..

your right they should not of told you that you can run and then dqed you after words.i agree that was wrong.but thats the things thats been happening all year.there was one other car they told the week before that he couldnt run either until he fixed his car then let him bring it out and run anyways.its not fair to you i agree with that and its not fair to us other drivers that they keep doing what there doing.nomatter what happens the track is not going to change so i like most people have waisted my time by speaking out.because all these people at the track thinks its foolish to complain or speak out as long as its not happening to them.but as soon as it does watch out.
