Remember that not everyone that races at Dixie gets on this website, or any websites.

I read the schedule twice and I guess I just missed it each time.

It should have been mentioned to us at the last drivers meeting, but thats not your fault.

Told ya Matt!! Haha.

Stop by the #22 and #23 trailers this Friday and say Hi if ya get a second!

See ya Friday!
Wood
LOL yeah Mr. Johnson decided to wait until the last minute. Hasn't officially entereed Owosso yet though, will be waiting until after Dixie to decide if they're making the trip over for Day II.

Sure wouldn't mind seeing a couple of Haydens on Saturday night at Owosso as well running in the Street Stocks. icon_smile.gif

after rereading their master schedule i just have to hope they dont plan on sticking to it im curious to see how they expect each class to do qualifying in ten mins each of course my laugh will come with the whole 15 min to run 2-3 heat races in the bombers not counting the 20 min for a feature race i mean that could be done with no cautions but with the points as they stand and tempers are starting to reach boiling i highly doubt we are going to go through those features without a single caution so plan on being flexible

greg

ps i race at dixie i get my info from dixie not from ASA if i raced ASA then i would check their website not slamming you but it would have been nice to be informed at a drivers meeting or posted on dixies website

Qualifying: 45 Seconds a car (X) 20 cars = 9 Minutes, so each division (providing there are no mishaps) will have a minute to spare!

Heats: 3 1/2 laps a minute, no cautions, each heat, per division, will be done in about 2 1/2-3 Minutes. (providing there are no mishaps) Plenty of time is built in for cautions.

Features: Again 3 1/2 laps a minute, (providing there are no mishaps again), all divisions should be done with time to spare....Plenty of time is built in for cautions.

All events have been figured out with time built into the schedule in the event of a few cautions.

If all else fails, The Master Schedule and Time Line is Subject to Change at the discretion of the ASA Late Model Series. ALL times are in accordance with Eastern Standard Time (EST)
bomber37
45 seconds/3 laps =15sec hmm last time i checked bombers ran maybe low 18s and thats if they are at top speed for their warm up 60 seconds/3.5 thats 17.14sec a lap im not trying to burst your bubble but im just not seeing it

Dude, what is your problem???

The ASALM's are RENTING the track. They are allowing Dixie Divisions to compete also. They are paying the purse, and from what I hear, a pretty descent one too. I have seen NOTHING but negativity from your post here. If your dead set against it, THEN DON'T GO!!!! Matt, and the ASALM are VERY informative, and MORE than helpful. Give him a break!!! So what if they miss the time line by five minutes, are you going to freak out????

Matt was in North Carolina last weekend and couldn't attend your Dixie drivers meeting. Maybe Mike could have informed you then. But Matt has had everything right here for weeks, and you seem capable of posting and navigating here, so what's the problem???

I just don't see where your attitude and negativity is doing anything for yourself, or the situation, or that it's even warranted. Go race, go have some fun, and enjoy the ASALM Series!!! Or just don't go and leave it alone!!!!! My goodness!!!
MyOpinion
So.. who's looking forward to the racing?!
TT22KH
The purse for all regular divisions is the same as a normal event.

We spend 10 minutes per heat race stopping cars and asking who caused the yellow at Owosso. I can't see 10 minute races unless all this turn 2 consultation is stopped. Send em all to the rear and get the show moving if we are on such a tight time schedule.
How is parking going to work? I hear us locals have to pay more to race for the same pay. Same rules I hope.

Maybe it'll be different since ASALMS is running it?
