How bout a Noggin from Rectum extraction

Sorry I couldn't help it.
IMHO Just be courtious and honest. Don't tell people what they want to hear if it isn't the truth, and lose the "If you don't like it go someplace else" attitude. When the drivers come back so will the crowd and the Advertisers.

I have never been to AC but I personally would much rather work on my car in grass than gravel

The only way to bring fans back is to treat the drivers as equals simply put , if you tell a driver something stick to your word, I found Joe is an awesome man and he does have a heart he just lacks communiocation skills he does want to make everyone happy and sometimes he tells you what you wanna hear you get off his case for a while then he has time to think , yet when it never comes through over and over it becomes a job and not fun anymore we all know i have a big mouth i do not talk behind anyones back you either like me or hate me but i will say whats on my mind and if Joe hires tech officialls no matter there decision he should stick with them if there not doin there job he should get rid of them the drivers should trust them and joe should and if you are gona write a rule book stick to it if you wanna push the grey areas and act as some do do it but if you get caught walk away you know what and when you did it if the class say pure stock it should be 100% pure stock if you cant find the parts for it get a different car or race another class you can change things he should police his divisions and follow the rules if there is a desrepisy call that driver and the other parties in a room in front of the board isnt that what it is for let them decide if there should be tear down or not make the rules fair for everyone not who pays your bills or kisses your ass because every person who pulls in the parking lot is your paycheck wether they work there, play there, or spend there weekend there they all ptentionally bring the same some fans bring up to 20 people and that says alot and if you respect your employess peoiple are drawn to that they envy the authority almost like a celebrity , the fans know them by name, and the drivers there your show you need them just cuz one dominates does not make them the favorites i have been strictly sitting in the stands and i love the energy and i also listen and to be truthful alot of people know when the track is not following policy , or up holds its dq's or make scalls unexceptible they hold on to it and eventually see no action soo they leave and possible not come back as i did this week i felt guilty about my daughter racin actually sick but i couldnt swallow my pride three weeks in a row with no justice i have bad thoughts so i stayed home i dont know if ill return next week either , i use to have a blast there all around every class no matter what the good the bad and they ugly but u mess with my kid and her honesty and trying to be herself and follow rules i cant swallow that so if you want liers, cheaters, and thieves so be it the track will sink ive seen entire towns where this happens and eventually there deserted, follow your own rules , be fair , be on the up and up respect others and treat them as you want to be traeated and they will come back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when the green flag drops the whole track is green
when you set a rule in place you write it in stone be it good or bad everyone follows the same rule book

joe said last saturday that they are going to be putting up a new tech barn for next year. joe said it will go from where the tech station is now clear to the end of the south end of the fence. he says it will have three doors on it. one two way for us to drive into the pits and a seperate one for the teching with all new lighting in it. this way the tech area is all enclosed. he said he was making other repairs and adittions but honestly forgot what they all are. the list he was ratteling off was to big for me to remember.

I am not really even looking for a lot of facility improvements (even though they are needed).
What I want is to be respected when talked to and not treated like a 5 year old.
To have fair and consistent calls from the tower.
To have more racing and less intermission.
To have a website that actually contains information that is updated frequently, and someone who will answer e-mail without taking 3 weeks.
To not have to sit through 6 or 7 divisions of racing on a single night.
Not one of these things costs a dime.

I would beg and plead to get rid of all thos rocks in the pits. They kill tires and always end up on the track.

tt22kh would you come back on a full time time basis if you got half or more of your requests?
stinkfist do you think more cars would come if members only paid 20.00 every week no matter who was there an do you think it would bring more racers to the track on a regular basis?
still more lights better timing system nice score board are needed how many times have you been to a track an went back cause it was a top notch facility?

My point is not that 30 bucks will keep racers or fans away, but it's one thing that combined with others could make a racer decide the've had enough. C'mon Fred 30 buck for legends....You see nothing wrong with that. Just to let you know I haven't been to AC in about 5 weeks. Tired of spending that kind of money for a lackluster show.

my point is why should the regulars pay the guests if we are going to be there week in an week out we should get a flat rate 20 or 25 for the whole season,,,

IMHO i would like to see a dedicated safety crew, tech officials that are allowed to do their job (that means half way through the week not having a call changed because money was involved) and who are not connected with any team (fair and unbiased) with a rulebook that everyone follows that doesnt change from race to race. a race director that knows what hes doing and again going to make fair and unbiased calls. a working and enclosed tech area where cars can be teched without everyone and their brother watching that is clean with working equiptment on a level surface. finally i would honestly like to see that whole "points fund" where money is put for someone that is DQed taken away that fact is if they were illegal it should be treated as if he never compete with money AND POINTS. and also to use the words of kyle "What I want is to be respected when talked to and not treated like a 5 year old". and if i ask why a call was made against me the incorrect response is "because i felt like it and if you dont like it go somewhere else"
thats all i have for now,
Greg

thats a great point fred..if your a non member 30$ even if your a special show..20$ if your a regular ther every week and have your card...thats a great idea..should be common sense though you would think, claude thats something that dont cost any money either and easy to fix,if joe would just pay a kid 20$ on friday or early saterday to walk the pit or even on cart to big the bigger racks out..kyle even those are great ive email him all of these great ideas,,specially the ones that cost no money...im all for the light fred,,but the tech barn that he plans on building,,the cars have to ride through the tech barn,,what about the big haulers and semis that come in the pits..thats a big door and a wast of money aint it...thats if thats the way its going to be,,,but thats what it sounds like

i was under the impression, that it was already locked in at $20 for members all season long, no matter who is there. i cant remember paying anymore than that any time this season. the only people paying the higher admissions into the pits are the non-members.

thats correct so just pay the $30 or $35 and in a couple of weeks it pays for itself

id like to see more organization out of that facility more than anything... leadership needs to be put in the proper places, and less wishywashy responses.
there are many great people working at the track, that arent even able to perform their tasks they are there for. the techs are not given the last word, if a tech makes a ruling, it should be the final word. joe shouldnt overturn something that a tech official determines, if a tech determines something illegal about a car, maybe it should be between all the tech officials to kinda take a poll on something, and whatever conclusion they have should be final. if this were the case, the officials that we have in place would actually be much more effective. by joe overturning a call made by the tech officials, its a slap in the face to them, if he showed them the respect of trusting their word, they would then have more respect and pride in his facility. obviously im all for a tech barn, but unless teching is actually going to be taken serious by the owner, theres really no point spending the money. im all for him giving them the tools to do the job, which improves car count usually, because everyone always wants to feel like they got an honest race, if they feel cheated they go somewhere else or just stay home. i cant see it being a drive-thru style barn for the haulers though... way too much crap being tracked through the barn that way.
as for on track incidents, there needs to be major improvements here as well. there should be many spotters with radios, that can help determine a cause of caution, or whatever. the tower doesnt always have the best angle... and despite how honest of a guy mike is, without race experience, he cannot always determine the true cause of accident. just the same, if there was more people keeping an eye on those on the track, they could also help speed up the re-alignment of cars during cautions, its way too time consuming for one man to try to fix the whole lineup every time cautions come out, and you can tell because by the end of the night he just dont care anymore.
what about rumble strips on the bottom of the corners... it seems to work great for spartan and whittimore. it keeps dirt off the track, which then avoids cautions by spinouts, and debris cleanup. then we could cut that part of the speech out of the drivers meeting everyweek.
i dont really see any point in spending another dime on the facility to make it top notch until its ran like one. keep it fair, keep it honest, and keep it consistant. everything else will fall into place. autocity is still one of my favorite places to race, and i think half the reason why you hear so much about this place, is because, unlike some other tracks, it has the ability to be something great and its just a few small steps away from that.
i think ive said enough for now. im sure ill be sent to the rear for something this weekend now.

nick,,i like the rumbel strips,,some one asked me about buring tires..i told them i think it would tear up equipment...but the rumbles would be good...but do you think that would keep driver off that area....like a tire would or a cement burm that just a tad higher then the track

If you have rumble strips the drivers will run over them.
If you have tires, the drivers will STILL run over them.
Some people use the rumble strips to help aid their car's handling. They tend to loosen a car up a little bit
