For all you rumor starters, Owosso Speedway in NOT closed! I went to Spartan tonight and people seenour racing shirts we wore and they were asking us where we were running, we were like what are you talking about? Some people were like, i thought Owosso Speedway closed, so its still open and this Saturdaywill be a great night! $12 for adults! yeah, cheap for A.S.A and superpros! come on out! Racing @ 7Pm! Hope to see you there!

The reason why people ask that is because they here NOTHING about the track even in it's own home town, I here the same thing everyday myself. It's the lack of information and advertising in it's own local area. Thats my thoughts.

$10 with the 800 coupons I personally handed out at Owosso Speedway and in the St. Johns Reminder, The Lansing State Journal, The Argus Press and many more newspapers between Ionia and Imlay City....Also the coupons are online at www.asalatemodesnorth.com Just print them off.
Also the Autograph session and Basement Dogs will start at 6pm for all that want to come meet the drivers and listen to some good classic rock....

Dale you really should have a better attitude.

The ASA series and USPRO are paying alot of money to lease that track and be represented in a proffesional manner.

Maybe if you cant handle the job you shouldnt be updating things.

The track needs a positive image because the current image is anything but that. They are struggling for people and cars and the owner is telling people dont come if they dont like it and you are telling people to do things theirself.

Then you call the people that are fans that they are rumor starters and tell the drivers to start doing advertising for the track.

Well put Claude , I agree a proffesional manner isn't thier at all and i wish it was because i want to race thier and find it hard to under those conditions now. Things and rules change every minute at the track

you guys dale is just 15 and he is just trying to help he doesnt know any better.and dave did say super pros. and unless they herd it right from dave than it is a rumor dale wasent trying to be mean he was just trying to tell people to stop saying wrong things cause then people think we arent when we really are. because some one actually told us that they were planning on comming but herd that we were closed so they planned on not going. there is no promoter and we cant do anything about it that is up to dave and ron so we are just trying to do little things here and there. you dont have to be so mean about it.just come out and race and dont worry about it. things will go the way that it will go. and dave tells him to post stuff so he is just doing his job as good as he can.

Taking this strictly the way I mean it, I have found it helpful when the person presenting information on behalf of an organization, be it a race track, a club, a lobby... what ever... has a good command of the English language and is a reasonably decent speller. They should be able to get information across in a concisely written manner. In this day and age of poorly taught grammar lessons, I can understand the problem but usually the hunt for said skills pay off in the long run.

I think Dale would do alright if he would think before he posted instead of just reacting. I think he gets in a big hurry to respond and that causes him to muddle things up. Stop... think... type... Re-read what you wrote... and then post. It's great he is trying to help but youthful enthusiasm sometimes gets in the way of clarity.
