Today's Weather
Don't let it scare you
At 8:30 AM, the radar is showing rain heading our way in about 30 minutes that will last off and on for two to three hours. Once that has passed through, the threat of rain will end around 2PM, the same time the pit gates open up. There is not supposed to be any rain for the entire rest of the day and evening.
So, come on out and enjoy Championship night for our 3 weekly classes along with the Vintage Modifieds and the Short Track Trucks. It's a big night of racing tonight.

At 10:20 AM, it's raining at the speedway, but will be letting up very soon and will continue to rain off and on for about 2 hours, maybe less, but not too severely. The worst of it will be passing by to the south of the speedway. After two hours, it will quit and we'll be good for the rest of the day.

The grass is greener this weekend, in more ways than one. icon_smile.gif

At 12:10PM the rain is letting up and will be all done within the next 15 minutes or so.

There is still some rain to the south of the speedway and along I-94 but that will be going away in the next 45-60 minutes.

Springport dries off very quickly due to the elevation of the pit area and the excellent drainage in the infield of the track. Once the sun comes out, we've got over 4 hours to get all the bleacher boards dried out. It's going to be a good night of racing with lots of stuff going on tonight.

See you there.
