HA!!!

I never usually give predictions for upcoming races because I don't feel it is right for someone that works at local facilities to say they WANT someone to win, because some people will believe it is an act of favoritism. Some can take it the wrong way even though it is never intended to be an act of favoritism. But, my "working" race season is over, I am nothing more than your average race fan for the rest of the season.

So, here are my picks for this weekend Whittimore Invitational.

Factory Stocks - Robby Johnston (if he's there??)

Mods - Joe Hodgeson (why not?)

Mini Stock - Alex Donnert (young and doesn't know any better, that's a good thing)

LLM - Ed Doutre Jr. (his back yard)

Lead Sleds - Chad Lamson (so many I'd like to pick, but how can you argue with 25 wins this year?)

Mods - Luckhurst (lame I know)
Mini stock - ? I am not sure, proabably a RWD. Alex inst racing at Whittemore (too young they say) so Josh Donnert is driving (a huge rookie)

I predict someone will be really really happy between 9 and 9:30 pm with some sweet looking new wheels compliments of Whittemore Speedway and its sponsors.

I predict I will have an enormous hangover Saturday morning, I also predict I won't be alone in that category. I also predict that the Firehall breakfast will really help to cure my first problem. I agree with Jeff that Renee will sell the most tickets, She has a certain salesmanship quality that people can't resist! I also predict that I will win the 2007 F-150 and donate it back to speedway. If I was going to drive a Ford, I'd have to wear a bag on my head or a ski mask, so people I know would'nt see me! I also predict that I will see the best racing in Michigan and have a helluva good time in the process! See Ya'll there!

The Whittemore Lead sled class is not as lead as all you people are thinking. You will be surprised if the top 5 runners show.

Wednesday night - 4 campers, Thursday night 25 plus campers and a good time was had. MY PREDICTION is there will be alot more good times before this is over!!!!

PRACTICE DAY IS HERE - Have a safe trip and we will see everyone tonight or tomorrow!!

We dont doubt that the favorites have to be from the home track. Its just we predict who we see race.

youre not kidding! they are nothing like the leadsleds that dixie, autocity, spartan and springport run... those are some factory stocks compared to what everyone else calls sleds. theres nothing lead about them boys!

I got one for 2008, the 53 Factory Stock wont leave their best remaining used tires on the trailer for the start of the feature. Nice to see Nate qualify on time 14.723 for the A main.

Nate laid down some nice laps in the late model during practice too Jerry. I had no idea that was not Derek.

These boys give me more gray hair and missed heart beats.

Jerry, those left sides I gave ya were pretty decent, Did ya run those, or were they on the trailer? lol

Mike thanks for the tires. What we did was ended up with a dozen free tires mounted up the best eight took them Friday the same four that started on the car friday finished saturday. 140 laps later . The funny part of the whole race was, under one of the cautions he came in and said he thinks he has a flat rear tire. Me and Derek are looking no flats. So the rear tires are junk and were gonna change one get the jack ,grab the inpact, no 1 inch socket look for socket cant find it, get back to the car. tell Nate he has a new rear tire go gettim. Dr Phil might be wrong.

Now up to 16 used tires.
