Last time I seen a Ass whipping like that, Joe Ruttman had Jr. Hanleys car at Mt.Clemens for a Wednesday night MSPA race and beat Joy Fair by half a lap.
Only to be DQ'ed for and Aluminum motor.
Great job to Brian Campbell.....you put it on them tonight.

Was A great race, Claude Plante seemed to have a great car too, only to have the quick change studs to rip out. Dont know what happened to Bellot but a good race. Man I love to watch the supers there. Toledos got me hooked.

Real good race the first 100, then we lost too many of the hot cars. Great crowd too, finally. Normally I go down at 1/2 way and interview folks (get the ones that dropped out) but decided not to this year. Wonder what did happen to Belott. How bad was Bush's car. Who else of the Hot cars did we lose that first 100...
Here's the actual finish (I could've put the whole thing up last night, I had the whole group correct off of my scoring sheet... ):

It was a very good race! It was nice to meet you Claude. Does anyone have any news on the little girl that fell from the grandstands? I was just wondering how she was doing.

It was a pretty good race, It would of been better if some of the faster cars didn't have early trouble (Bush, Fair, Bellott) although I don't think they had anything for Brian. My only complaint is with ARCA charging $40 for a pit pass on Saturday, that was totally ridiculous

Well thanks guys, Don thanks so much for all the help.
That is the best car I have ever had at Toledo ever. Early on we were able to keep pace without pushing the car but unfortunatly the leader got impatient with a lap car and while I checked up to miss the spinning car Sauve couldnt check up and got into me and then Joe Bush ran over the front end.
On the restart we were leading but the nose was dragging so bad the car was pushing, after about 5 laps it clearanced itself out and we were almost a straightaway ahead of 3rd.
Brian won the race and was running 15.80's so I would assume he was just cruising because I know that wouldnt have beat me or Harold had we not had trouble.
The lap traffic was really tough, after I went to the back we almost wrecked at least 3 times, to say it was exciting would be an understatement lol.

To the person asking about Nick Bailey's daughter. I don't know how much bad luck a team/family could have. At the same time she fell out of the stands, dad Nick lost his hood over the backstretch fence. Then Nick's dad drove the #0 (the red/white one) and crashed head on into to the wall. Then team car, Kevin Stahl (#01) crashed.
I talked to Dan Bailey before the race and he told me his grand-daughter had two skull fractures and some bleeding on her brain but she was in stable condition. If I hear anything else, I'll post it.
Drivers If I didn't talk to you after the race and you have anything you want me to add to my Late Model Digest article, I'm working on it now and anything I get to 7 pm, I'll send in. Either post here or my email's icechips@hotmail.com

Got another question. Brian's in his 20's ... I think. I'm wondering if he's the youngest winner. My problem is I can guess at some of the guys in the 70's, but I don't know. I'm hoping Chris or someone will come to my rescue.

Typical Glass City 200. Too many cars drop out early. Only half the field finishes.
Way too many cautions in first 100 laps, actually first 60 laps or so. After that it was ok but no racing for the lead.
Best racing of the night was the ending of the first 100 with Campbell trying to pass Sauve for the halfway lead.
What is with guys working on their cars under red flag. Dave Kuhlman had lots of time to work on his car during the red. Isn't all work supposed to stop under a red. Not fair to other guys who just happen to have trouble at the wrong time and don't get that extra time to fix their ride.
Love the track and the cars but this race always seems to lose too many cars early on.
