Fri-October,12th-13th, Race your Street Stock on the High Banks of Indiana. On fri there is a special for cars that HAVE NOT finished in the top 10 or maybe top 15.

AC-Dixie cars should run a 4.56 to 4.88 gear[overall gearing],put on a 4 barrel carb,no dual-line or double-pump,no rear metering block, Any exhaust ok.

You can find rules at CRA Super Series.click rules, then Street Stock.

If you have alum. body parts you may have a 50lb penlty.

We all run powerglides and you already said that those will not work.

Put a TH350 in it,they are cheap, and you have to do nothing to them to have them live. The PG's brake cases because of alinement issuses. The 350 cases tend to withstand slite alinement issuses.

Kyle,

after reading the rules I would guess that a powerglide would be fine. but you have to run a torque converter icon_sad.gif As long as you put all the gear in the rear I would see no problem.

Hopefully in 2008 we will run some CRA stuff. Right now with my being at school it is too hard to get everything done and drive all that way and then drive back and be ready for Monday classes.

We are turning it into a full-blown Sportsman this winter with a stick and Ford 9". So it will be easier to get the correct gearing for these tracks like Winchester.
