I am sure Grega will be at Dixie, he is in the points hunt and it pays way better at Dixie.

Actually, the Dixie payout is only $855 more and the start money is actually better at the Main Event. If you count the two additional starters that will be in the Main Event race, the Columbus payoff is actually higher than the one at Dixie.

It's just too bad the two races have to be on the same weekend...

Yeah but Dixie has a 10K purse for a 5 race series and Grega is 2nd in that so thats what I meant about a better paying race.



Also Columbus actually only locks in like 8 cars, most of the cars are the regulars that make it unless you qualify really well.

Ten are locked in through qualifying and 12 come through heats and the last chance. Only 4 cars are locked in through series points. I do understand the point thing for Grega, though.

They don't race Superlates at Columbus anymore(Main Event only), so not too many "regulars" around. I always thought the Michigan west-side cars dominated down there anyway.
