The ASA Late Model Series launches the all new Official Forum. Vote for the 2007 ASALMS Most Popular Driver Award!

Lexington, Michigan (10/30/2007): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is proud to announce the all new ASALMS Official Forum. The exclusive ASALMS Message Board was launched on Friday October 26, 2007 and has already grown in the number of members.

It will be a great place to get updates, find out what’s new, stay in touch, give your input and feedback. Everyone is welcome to post and the only restrictions will be “No Foul Language” or “Personal Bashing”. Otherwise it’s an open forum for the great fans of the ASALMS to feel free to post what is on your mind.

“This is a great place for our teams to keep up with what is going on and also for our sponsors to be able to post and provide product and service updates and specials.” Stated ASALMS Co-Founder/President, Sandy Varney. “We have created the format to be fun and we hope that it will be for all of our great fans.” She added.

The ASALMS Official Forum features such topics as: “General Information”, “Tech Questions/Bulletins”, and “Events”. Sure to be one of the most popular features is the “Just Ask Ron” segment. ASALMS fans, this is your chance to talk directly to ASALMS Co-Founder/President, Ron Varney and get the answers you want straight from Varney himself.

More features include; “Do you think you can do better? Tell us how!” allowing our ASALMS fans to tell us something that perhaps we can improve on and make better for you. In addition, there’s “So you think you know! ASALMS Trivia”, also the “ASALMS Driver of the Week” will be featured and you can tell that driver about how awesome he or she is.

There’s so much more, there’s the widely useful segment titled “ASALMS On the Road Again-Travel Tips” letting you know where to stay, where to rent a car, and anything else related to all of the cities throughout the United States that the ASALMS travels too.

Plus there is another sure to be widely popular segment titled “Rumor Mill” and finally a “Swap Meet” which is a great place for ASALMS Teams to stay in touch and help each other out with Equipment, Parts, Advice, and so on.

One of the first big promotions involving the brand new ASALMS Official Forum is the 2007 ASA Late Model Series Most Popular Driver Award. It’s all in the hands of the ASALMS fans throughout the United States and all over the world.

It's real simple, vote for your favorite driver and that driver who receives the most votes from our great fans of the ASALMS will be honored as the 2007 ASALMS Most Popular Driver at the 2007 ASALMS Awards Banquet and Weekend of Champions on Saturday January 19, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Here are the nominees: 170 Jeff Choquette, 89 Travis Dassow, 8 Eddie Hoffman, 015 Colt James, 41 Brandon Johnson, 32 Sean Murphy, 55 Nick Neville, 87 Jesse Saunders, 08 Beau Slocumb, and 88 Trent Snyder. Voting began on Monday October 29, 2007 at 8:00am (EST).

Now here's the catch, the driver with the least amount of votes beginning on each Monday of each week leading up to the banquet, will be eliminated from award contention! Eliminations begin on Monday November 12, 2007.

So don't let your favorite driver be voted off, keep voting as often as you like on the ASALMS Official Forum as well as the Poll Question Sections of the ASALMS North and South websites.
