Russ,
Are you going to have the USPRO owners change over to ASA Latemodel rules totally the first year or, are you going to let some areas be fased in for the second year? IE the ignition systems, fire suppression systems, etc. I guess the question is: what is going to be different if anything? Also, will Rogers Crankshaft and Machine in St Charles be certified for rebuilding motors for ASA this year?

A Mod or Admin should move this thread...
Why????
Yeah Greg, You won't find Russ on here, but he is a member of the ASA Late Model Series Message Board as "ASALMS TD" and he is on there often.

All,
The basic USPRO SeriesTechnical Rules will be a combination of the SuperPro Series Technical Rules and ASA LMS Technical Rules. All USPRO race cars must have a safety inspection performed at each event, using the ASA LMS safety standards. For these safety requirements, ALL USPRO race cars MUST BE compliant. SuperPro Series Technical Rules are very similar to ASA LMS rules, therefore if the rules infraction is deemed NOT TO BE a speed enhancement, car owners will be given enough time (1/2 events) to make the required changes. Additionally, THERE IS a specific USPRO Rule book being developed, and will be published with the coming weeks.
If you have other specific needs, questions, or answers, feel free to contact me via e-mail, this forum, or phone.
