Just to inform all of you NR2003 sim-racers of our site if you haven't heard of it, which I'd be suprised if you hadn't. It is one of the most visited site for NR2003 carsets, fictional paint schemes, and "painting" tools and tips for practically every mod available, on the internet. In fact some our crew members are responsible for a couple of the most popular mods.
It's not a "wild west" type site, where everybody and anybody can post files in the download section. We have hand chosen some of the best sim "painters" in the hobby, to be on our crew. We never claim to be the first with something, but when it's posted, it's right!
Content on the site is totally free. Anyone can download files WITHOUT even registering! (Ahem, uh donations for server costs are accepted though.

) But you'll want to, to access our forums for great info and links. It'll be easy to navigate the forums, we use the same software as here, and it looks EXACTLY the same!!!
Point your Browser to
http://www.masgrafx.com. Into NR2003? Then you will not be disappointed.
Dennis
FW2 at MasGrafx.com - painter and admin. (Specializing in logos and numbers. Big surprise on that, eh?)

I'll vouch for Dennis 100%, Masgrafx is a wonderful site with some of the more top notch N2k3 painters and replicators on the web. I frequent the site a lot just to see what the boys are up to or to find the occasional logo.

Did you try burning it to a cd? Do you need a key?

Burn it so the cd is running when you start up.

Well I burned it to CD, installed it -- and it is still giving me the wrong disc error. Any way to fix this? Could this be because of the CD key I got off the net?

I installed it last night, everything worked well. I got to go to play the game and it kept giving me the error wrong disc message last night (no CD inserted, just installed off desktop) however, I downloaded the files to the CD and it still gave me the wrong disc error.
Chad, send me that key, if that doesnt work, any chance you can send me the game and key? I want to get started ASAP on the LMPV2 mod so I can get a setup in for Five Flags so I can run the Snowball Derby.

Whoa! Guys! I didn't start this topic to get a copyright infringment conversation going! As one whose involved in a site for NR2003 Files and forums, I can tell you that by discussing such things like this in an open forum, you run the real risk of nasty letters from lawyers showing up at your house. On our site even the hint of a conversation going in this direction, the thread gets axed from the forum.
If you don't think it can happen to you, don't bet on it.

I dont know this is a five year old game, and Papyrus shut down thier servers. I understand they got bought?!? It is rare for anyone to pursue this kind of course. Your site is also in the business of providing downloads for that game. I bought mine!

No help from me. I installed and booted up fine until it came time to play the game. Then it came up "WRONG DISC" error. I've got no other way to fix this... unless I get the right CD. I'm f'ed for trying to run the Derby I guess.

Yes, the code for the game was bought back by some of the original Papyrus people from Universal-Vivendi games. Which also happens to be the same people who are the "Fenway" in Roush-Fenway Racing. Because of the popularity of our site, First Racing (the new company name), contacted our site's owners to spell out exactly what we are and are not allowed to do. Which covers pretty much everything EXCEPT mess with the .EXE, which cracking the CD key is considered doing.
The fact that this is a five+ year old game that people are still heavily supporting confirms to First Racing that the code is still relevent, and is going to be the base for a new generation of on-line racing. That's why they are being so protective, they plan on using it again. EA Sports still hasn't come close to matching the game-play as evidenced by the game increasing in value while a year-old EA racing game can be found in the bargain bin.

I just spoke to a friend of mine and he told me that the servers are up, but they no longer are concerned about cd keys or ratings. You will no longer have to worry about experience ratings like you used to. (especially if your new.)

I agree. I just don't care for the EA games on the computer. There is a lot of great stuff out there for NR2003.
