Whats the "Old School Racing Series"?

the old school series is going to be made up of drivers like david pearson and cale yarbrogh(spelling I know) and a multitude of other older nascar racers. should be a good show. this is a traveling series where the drivers show up and race equal cars provided by the series.

is springport running the same rules as spartan this year or are they going to have something different? I am assuming that springport and spartan are going to have the same rules? right?

Yes Jerry. As far as I know the rules will mirror each other at both tracks.

Hey Jerry, the rules for SMS and spartan are exactly the same.
The Old School Racing thing is gonna be cool. Harry Gant, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, Tim Fedewa, Phil Parson, Geoff Bodine...also i heard a rumor than Mario Andretti wants to race. Don't know if he will be at SMS or not. Gonna be a good time.

Don't forget about Dave Marcis.

I see that the very popular pit stop races are no longer being scheduled. It seems that to build car counts that a promoter would do "specials" that highlight and reward the base classes. Go Figure!

Don't count them out Dennis......this is a schedule put out to list the race nights......it will change according to sponsorship, classes and other things that come up.....I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of "Pit Stop" events this year......stay tuned.
