There a few here in the Flint area that do great work and will give excellent tech advice.

I use Street'N'Strip in Plainwell and Bliss Machine near Baldwin. R&D Repair in Suttons Bay builds the motors but the other 2 do most of the machine work for use. I've been running my Late Model motor since 1998 with no problems at all. I've turned it as high as 8900rpm with no problems. Wet sump steel head Ford. They do great work at a good price.

Fenton Machine Shop does a lot of top motors in the Mod and Factory Stock class........Tony Brabbs runs the engine building department. Call the number posted above and you will not be dissapointed.

His clients include himself, Joe Hodgeson Jr., myself and my brother, John Summers, Greg Fullarton, and a host of others.

Call them soon he is very busy!

Plus its not too far from Flint just down on 23 and get off at Thompson Rd. a few miles east.

If you're heading to Rogers in St. Charles, Backwoods Racing, Inc. in Midland isn't much farther. Worth the drive. Equipped with RMC/Sunnen's new computerized CNC to blueprint, lighten, stroker clearance, etc. Top notch equipment including a Stuska engine dyno to validate performance. Equipment is not everything - engine builders, Corey Luneack and Larry Osborne, have a combined 50+ years of experience in circle track and drag strip applications. Block machining packages start at $289. Still time to have your project done by spring! 989-837-6311.

One of the best things about using Tony Brabbs is that he will be racing at the same track as you. He gives you alot of imput and does excellent work. This is an important decision, and that is why I use Tony. Plus once you get to know Tony he's a really good guy.
