I would like to know the circumference range for the 970's. I am in the middle of setting my car up and I only have 45/55's, but I am hoping I can get them to work, at least for roughing the car in....

Wouldn't that be the circumference?
Diameter = a straight line through a circle that passes through the center.
Circumference = the distance around the outside of a circle.
Not trying to be smart, but if you want Diameter it is going to be a very different number than the circumference.

The sizes written on the tire aren't right either. I run these every week, and I can tell you first hand, some of them are smaller than 83.2", even with 25-30psi.
