Full Version: Which PS2 Nascar Game I thinking of?
Trying to think of a game I played a few years ago - think it possibly could be the Nascar Thunder line, but unsure. I remember playing a game that you hired crewmembers, engine builders - built chassis and engines - and they would have a status bar indicating when you had to do upgrades and such. I have Nascar 2005 and 2007 for PS2 and neither one of those have that feature. If anyone could give me a name I'd like to order a used copy before they disappear. Thanks for your help, Jim.

i believe the game your thinking of is nascar thunder 2003, in fact im pretty sure it is use to own it,lost it.......
Kyle - I believe you are right - I was looking at the covers online and saw Jr was on the 03 Thunder - I'm pretty sure that was the one I was playing.
Gavin and gokeeracing32 (Rich I believe?) - thanks for the response - I already have Dirt to Daytona and that game rocks - this one I'm thinking of was definately a Winston/Nextel/Sprint Cup only one - the cool thing was you could have different engines and different chassis you could inter-mix - you could keep swapping a good engine into your newest chassis and then assemble a junker car for a track you weren't good at - it was just a neat concept I remember. Now I'll probably go buy it and it won't be as good as the memory!!

I looked through my old games, Thunder 2003 is the one that is like you're talking. Thunder 2004 was the first one that had the grudges and alliances and the first one that I thought was way too cheesey.
If you have the world of outlaws game I'll trade you for it. If not I'll give you 2003 for $25 or 2003 and 2004 for $35 (shipped).
