ASA Late Model Series General and Miscellaneous Information for the upcoming 2008 racing season.
Lexington, Michigan (02/19/2008): The 2008 racing season within the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is rapidly approaching! In less than Four (4) weeks, the ASALMS Challenge Division will officially kick off the 2008 campaign in Hudson, North Carolina.
Then two weekends later, the ASALMS Southern Divisions’ 2008 season swings into action in Bronson, Florida. Finally two weekends after that, the ASALMS Northern Division and the highly anticipated return of the USPRO Cup Series both kick off there 2008 seasons in Toledo, Ohio.
As is the case with every major traveling series in the country, whether it’s all the NASCAR touring Series’, the ARCA RE/MAX Series, Hooters Pro Cup Series, or the ASA Late Model Series, the off season actually is busier than the season itself and paperwork and hordes of information are always a “favorite” amongst all involved.
Registered Numbers for the upcoming 2008 season within all four divisions of the ASALMS remain open to the general public and are going fast!
In all total between new and returning memberships, nearly 200 teams have registered for the upcoming 2008 Season within the ASALMS Challenge, Northern, and Southern Divisions as well as the USPRO Cup Series.

ASALMS Driver Profiles are a daunting task to say the least, with nearly 200 drivers currently registered for the 2008 season, it is essential for all ASALMS and USPRO teams to view there respective profiles and make sure they are all accurate.

For the 2008 racing season, Richmond, Michigan based R.V. As for the 2008 ASALMS Challenge Division Season Opener; The Rumble in the Hills / North Carolina 200 is set for Friday and Saturday March 14-15, 2008 at the 0.410 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval of the Tri-County (NC) Motor Speedway, located just 15 miles Northwest of Hickory in Hudson, North Carolina.
Joining the ASALMS Challenge Division for the 2008 Season Opener will be Tri-County Support Divisions of Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks. The Rumble in the Hills / North Carolina 200 Entry Form is now available and is due at the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan by Monday March 10, 2008 to avoid late fees.

Then the ASALMS Southern Division will start off their 2008 season on Friday and Saturday March 28-29, 2008 with the traditional season opening Bronson 100 at the fast 0.333 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval of the Bronson (FL) Motor Speedway, located West of Gainesville in Bronson, Florida.
Joining the ASALMS Southern Division will be Bronson’s weekly divisions of Sportsmen, Super Stocks, Thunder Stocks, and Hornets. The Bronson 100 Entry Form will be available beginning on Wednesday March 5, 2008.
To close out the 2008 season openers, both the ASALMS Northern Division and the widely anticipated return of the USPRO Cup Series will highlight the Glass Breaker 200 Weekend on Friday and Saturday April 11-12, 2008 at the historic 0.500 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval of the Toledo (OH) Speedway in Toledo, Ohio.
The ASALMS Northern Division will kick off there 2008 season with the running of the Glass Breaker 125 while the USPRO Cup Series will officially return to action with the running of the Welcome Back / Glass Breaker 75.
Joining the ASALMS Northern Division and the USPRO Cup Series will be the O’Reilly Auto Parts USA Modifieds Series. The ASALMS Northern Divisions’ Glass Breaker 125 and the USPRO Cup Series’ Welcome Back / Glass Breaker 75 Entry Forms will both be available beginning on Wednesday March 19, 2008.
