Yeah Gavin you can certainly see the camps "influence" on some of the bars. The outside of the cage was already there. We installed the X, seat brackets, replaced the upper half of the cage and kick down bars through the fire wall. We used all chromolly to replce all of the bars. The car was really rusty so we had to patch, patch, and repatch. Making progress now guages are in ect. Thanks for putting those guages in yesterday Nick. You did a good job it looks good. A small sponsor would really help to get the motor, but were trying to make opening day.

You might consider cutting off part of the brake pedal so that it is not so wide. It was designed for one foot drivers.

Just got the dash and winshield put in the new lead sled. Late Model is goin for Paint Tuesday. Only 20 days until first practice.

update, after working for somewhere around 14hrs straight, chad and i have got the fuel cell mounted, fuel lines run, the battery and all wiring pretty much done, brake lines all ran, and most of the body patched up...

man i need all the help i can get...work is killing me...i get home saterday spend all the time i can out there...lthen i have to leave again sunday night....rally all i got to do is a little sheet metal work left...the quater panel by the door and the covers for the front...where the lights would b...then i have to find a place to paint it.....then wait for the motor thats the thing im waiting for besides all of the miner stuff like fuel line snd the electrical stuff...not bad for doing all this one day a week with very little help.....ill be there though it may not b opening day but deffinatly b4 memorial day

Nate if we have nice weather next weekend bring your car down to the shop. We have a pad out front and I will help you. Its gotta be warm though otherwise we'll freeze outside, but we have good facilities for doing assembly work. You would know that if you and grandpa ever made it down. Tell Traft he's a bum for never coming down to shoot the breeze with me. jk If you can bring your car down there's always a few people here including myself who would be willing to lend you a hand.
