Just a quick post to keep everyone on the same page. The backing for this race from Sams friends and fellow racers has been both heart warming and overwhelming, its unbelievable!! We are moving forward at a record pace, and the purse is sure to be better than expected.
7-car dash will NOT pay $10,000. if all 7 dash cars are Windpushers, due to the fact that we could not secure a Insurance Bond, The company wanted some type of identification numbers or proof that each of those cars were Pure Windpusher Cars (no modifications) HOWEVER, the payout for the dash will be greater than most Mod features at local tracks across Michigan and other States pay. Please watch for a Big Announcment coming soon to make the "Sam Faur Modified Memorial Race"the Midwests largest paying Modified Race this year. Please include June 28th 2008 in your racing schedule and plan to be part of this tribute to the late Sam Faur. Bonfires and camping after the race, bring your friends and family for a full fun filled day.
