I'm looking for people that want to sing the National Anthem at Owosso Speedway this year during the pre race festivities. I've always enjoyed a live singer versus a tape or cd recording. So if you have what it takes to do our country proud, pm me or call my anytime phone # (810)845-1105 to get on the schedule. When I schedule you to sing, you will recieve 1 main gate pass for that evening. This would include trios and quartets as well. One pass for each person that sings. It would be awesome to have 20 different singers this season! Thank you so much!

Great ideas getting thrown out there for me to use and I appreciate that! If you know of someone that would like to do it, just call me or pm me and we'll take a look at the schedule. I was just thinking of all the great singers we had in 2006. Jan McMullen, Lindsey Fausett, April Dawson, Mark Pettit's daughter?????, another gal with a beautiful voice named Lindsey????, and three young men that sang as a trio one night have all added to the festivities and done an incredible job!

April Dawson is on the schedule again so far and I'm looking for more! Maybe we could get a driver from every class to sing as a group one night! Dick are you in? I know that Lindsey would represent the Street Stock class. Maybe Alex or Laci would perform on behalf of the Mini Stocks? April could represent the pure stock class as could Jan McMullen and Mark Pettit's daughter could represent the Late Model class. We could get Elaine and Kim to represent the fan base! That would be cool!!!

When I was in HS I was in both the Varsity and the Chamber choirs. Most of us loved the opportunity to do it. In fact if they have specialized groups ie.. all woman, all men, you can usually get them. Choir teachers are usually looking for any way to show off their schools talent. That is a great idea.
