Yep! I finally get the car to AC for practice late, (difficulty scaling.) and the brand spanking new rebuilt trans takes a crap. Ohhhh the joy of racing. Thanks to Lonnie, Nick, Kyle and Greg for dealing with me until 3 am this morning to get the sucker ready to head to Spartan. Now if we could just get the race gods to keep the rain away, we will have some fun tonight. Oh yeah! Thanks to Nick L for the loaner tranny! I'll have her all spit shined when I bring it back this week.

Did you have the driveshaft installed out of phase?

It sure is nice to end a good thrash with a run on the track.

If its a long haul (more than 5 miles), I'd save my gas. Many bands of thunder storms lined up one behind the other.

That sucks, hopefully your builder will take care of it. I like mine to last at least 1 race. If it's in LJ's car the warrenty is over as soon as it leaves my house LOL

Well at least it will be scaled right for AC tomorrow. I'm not sure what will happen with the trans, as JD had it built for me as part of his sponsorship. His guy is checking it out now, so I should have it back this week for next weekend.

cars going to the frame shop first thing this week. other than a rim, radiator and fan blade, we have pretty much everything else to have it ready for this weekend.

Alright, what happened?

we were hot lapping at A/C and he got loose off 4 and basicly did a tank slap and nose into the wall hard.. bent the right side... it looked bad but must not be so bad it can't be fixed

nothings so bad it cant be fixed. its ugly, but not done. weve got to replace the frame horn, aframes, spindle, steering box, radiator, fan, alternator pulley, sway bar, fender, bumper, core support, hood, and tierods. there may be more, but thats all we found so far. i think well have it done for this weekend. chads resting at home, hes a little sore, but not about to give up.

the caddy was at dixie saturday with its new owner. lamson went out there and upset a few guys i guess, he went out and set fast time in it with no practice before hand. im sure its just the beginning of the "chadillac"

stinkfist/decker... he dented the car a little bit, but it will be ok, im sure he will be too.

it looked like a pretty hard hit..just glad hes ok...i know all the hard work that went into that care made him really bummed out...it would of me...we know with you guys on the job it will be back to almost new

Yeah the cars gonna be ok. Ill be back to work on it after work tomorrow. It was a pretty hard hit. My neck isn't wanting to turn so far today, but other than that I'm all good. After that hit Im not sure no hoops is not a good thing. It was pretty bad on the car, but I was fine. I just bone headed up and the car came out from under me. With no preload on the sway bar I corrected and it turned hard right. I would like to blame it on a green track from all the rain and just drying it out, but nobody else hit the wall. Thanks to everyone for all you concern. My garage was like a visiting room last night. Also thanks for the flatbed M-15 guys.
