The SUPERPRO Series for template bodied crate motor late model stock cars kicks off its 2008 season this Saturday, May 24 at Angola Motor Speedway in Angola, Indiana. The "Engineered Systems 75" will be the first of seven scheduled events for 2008.
2007 Series champion Tommy Cook will return to defend his title along with 2004 titlist Jack Landis and 2005 champ Rob Buckley. Al Cook, Jr., Kevin Todd, Mike Kugler, Jason Dietsch, Derek Bischak, Greg Nienhouse, Doug True, Joe Fadke, Paul Jakubik, Dean Gassert, Mark Browning, Terry Bogusz, Shaun Whitney and others will also be in competition. 2007 Rookie of the Year Colin Toland will return along with 2008 rookie candidates Matt Hall and Zion Schaub.
SUPERPRO will make a return trip to Angola on August 23 and make two visits to Baer Field Speedway in Ft. Wayne, IN. on May 31 and for the "International Gold Cup 100" on August 8.
