I was reading the tire rules for the USA mods and I'm wondering if those particular tire rules will be in effect for The Boyne 200 weekend at Berlin? The reason I'm asking is because I can get takeoff 970's all day long from the superstocks. If I have a set of 970's that are not stamped for the mods will I be able to use them? Just wondering.

If I understand the rule right you should be able to use them. They check them then if ok'd they mark them with paint. They also check for soak with a sniffer.

That was my understanding as well, thanks. Now only if I can find the right deal that'll put me in the seat of a modified that night...............thought I had one, deal fell through.
