Wow they will be packed for that. I hope they start getting some cars. Its going to take more than just good promotion to bring the old girl back. If they dont start fielding more cars are the owners going to be able to keep it open? I am going to try to make it out if my car and tires are legal. Do they have a 60 series rule or 70 series rule for lead sleds. I know Spartan and Springport dont allow 60 series, but AC and Dixie do. I guess I can look it up. It might be a few weeks b4 I can do it but, when I can get my motor I want to run there. Just because I loved that track so much back in the days when I worked there with Jane and Dan and the crew.

tire rule is suppose to be 70 series but this year i guess you can run anything under a 8 inch tread width.i know theres a couple cars running 50 series tires.

Wow now that is outside the spirit of the rule. The whole reason for the rule is so you dont go out and buy a 200 perelli or somthing like that. I wonder how well I would compete against a car with 150 dollar tires.

So far this year the owosso tire rules are non existant. There was an issue the first night with the mini's now it's all the way up to the Mod's.

If you show up with a 65 series tire I'm sure you will be allowed to race.

just stopped in at burton corners they said the figure 8 got cancelled do to the fact the speedway didn't pay the contract owed for putting on the show, that's really to bad, could make other touring series concerned on their scheduled date.

the track highway sign reads "cancelled". i should have said the pizza place, the people who operate the concessions at the track are the ones who were talking about it, they just happen to have there store in burton corners store.

and i realy don't think it's the rumors that are damaging the track, do you?

I don't know, from the few videos that I remember seeing of bigfoot in the 70's, he seemed to be quite " happy " out in the woods untill he realized he was being filmed.....................

I believe that the name "Bigfoot" is a gender-neutral name.

Until Bigfoot comes out for an introduction, we might never know...

But we now know that Bigfoot is married to Elvis, so Bigfoot is either female or a gay male. That narrows it down a bit.

I'm hoping Chris, aka 'MyOpinion', can shed light on the subject and get us the facts. I have a lot of respect for him and trust he will get us to the bottom of this.

The reg employees didn't have to work that day so maybe its just an assumption.

ok i can buy that too. the conversation was the contract was not paid. so it could go either way the touring series didn't have the rent to use the track or the track didn't pay for putting on the show, interesting. the pizza people were just pi$$ed cuz it was like the 3rd cancellation without good cause, their words, for the investment they have in the concessions.

Perhaps Bigfoot is gender neutral, or transgender, dependent upon the spur of the moment desires that rise within it?

Ron was PROMISED 50 to 80 cars for his show, they brought 30. Ron was not going to pay them full price for half of a promise. They could not negotiate it, so the show was cancelled.

Well, for starters, the proper term is "Large" foot or "Endowed" foot. "Big" foot is just plain derogatory. Regardless of the Largefoot's orientation, they should be afforded the same rights as any Regularfoot or Smallfoot.

WOW! 50-80 cars sounds like ALOT to promise in todays day and age regardless of where you are, at least to me anyway.

ed, that is a true statement. talked to dave and he said there was a mix up with the contract. dave never got a contract from them. then they wanted there money up front for the whole show with no promise on how many cars were going to show up. things just did not seem right with the whole deal. dave was going to go with the show but was going to pay at the end of the night. to bad, becouse they could of had a good night of racing the reg. cars. done deal no since of dragging it on, can't do any thing about it know. mark
