Another very good night of side by side racing at Whittemore, good car counts in all the classes except the Sleds.

The mini stock race was awesome. Chris, you Kevin and Derek put on a WHALE of a show!!! When there are enough cars Whittemore has the best side by side racing PERIOD

In the PLM at Dixie The first three were DQed for illegal shocks. Nice job to the Tech guys and the ownership to stand by the rules.
Its means alot to the guys that are legal. Last week one was let go because his carb was wore and the gauge was loose in the barrels. I didnt know those barrels could wear like that???????mmmmm.

The teching at Dixie is outstanding. Jimmy and his crew follow the rule book like no other track. So I guess an 8th place turns into a 5th.

Jimmy has done a great job teching everywhere he's been, Dixie,Whittemore,Tri-city. It is a cryin shame that A/C does'nt have a tech guy or race director that cares what is written in the rule book.Oh thats right they don't have a rule book,Me bad.

if a carb is old or the air filter has been bad it will suck dirt thru the carb and sand blast it a little bit and in time it will be a loose fit,loose is not good in a carb

what kind of car count was there saturday? we went over to i-96 to watch the sprints but got rained out.

It is the policy of Dixe Speedway to be consistent in rules enforcement for all drivers and divisions. Last week there was an issue regarding a component that could not be conclusively determined legal or illegal but was considered to be "marginal." As we always do, the driver was given the benefit of the doubt with the understanding that the questionable part would be replaced for the next week. We consider this to be the only fair way to deal with matters of this sort. We will continue this practice if "gray areas" arise.

Dont blame it on the tech guys at AC. Go right to the race director and Owner. They absolutely refuse to let a tech guy do his job. They over rule decisions the tech guys make, basically making the tech man impotent. All the drivers know that if you dont like being teched all you gotta do is be a buddy of Mike Roenicki sp
or go whine to Joe and threaten to race somewhere else. It works like a charm. The tech guy has no authority to accomplish anything at AC. They havnt for years Joe and Mike get in the way and do not allow the techs to do what they know is right. Thats why they will not get a good tech to stay there.

Come on now Chad, you know they have great tech guys out there. After four times of tearing my motor down, they still thinks it's all motor!!!!!! I guess we'll see how many more times they tear it down before they realize it's not the motor in the car thats making it fast.

I had a smaller motor than that the first year. Speaking of which is the one that ricky is running right now. How many semi's has he been in this year? Last time i remember he's second in points with the SAME motor you have with the exeption of a different cam.
