I have a saginaw 3 speed and 2 of the ears where it bolts to the bellhousing are cracked is there a way to fix this or is it junk and what would cause this ive used it in a street stock for the last 2 years with no problems until now.

They are very prone to breaking right there, not sure the cause, but happens all the time. Do you have tranny mounts other than to the bellhousing? that can give it more stability so its not leaning on the ears. you could stick weld them but it has to be a special type of rod, used on cast. not sure the exact name, maybe someone else will know, or they can tell ya at the hardware store.

Is this an iron saginaw or an aluminum one?

If iron it's probably cheaper to just get a new one.

Like Armani said, without a tail mount for the trans, they'll break.
