Ellis in the #50 won.
SLM race the #44 of Hackworth.
Mini cups the #8 of Tim Phillips.
Missed the dwarf race.

A #50 Leeroy Ellis won the big event followed by Jason Parrish, and Chris Ozanich I believe in 3rd. Oh by the way, Parrish was in a CK Mod, which I believe one is for sale in the classifieds section!

Leroy lead 99 of the 100 laps and collected just over 3100.00. Not to bad for a mod race at a little 1/4 mile. Plus he was very fast qualifying for the regular event and went 13.23, which is just off from the track record set a few years back when the track was re-paved.
For the second race, which was our regular 35 lapper, old man Ron Parish got-it-done.
Great job to Ellis Racing

Ron Parish won the regular mod feature and Chad Curtiss made a last lap pass on Eric Hoffman to win the MCR dwarf feature.

So Gov, where did you and Perry finish?

I was 11th, made a wrong adjustment, was junk, went into pits @ the mid race break and came back out on the tail.
I think Perry was 5th or 6th.

Rob,
I ended up 4th in the 100 lapper and 13th or something after being spun with 10 to go in the regular show.

Something broke and I ended up riding up the wall on the backstretch... hated it. Glad it didn't affect anyone else though. That stuff always has potential to cause a huge mess.
Might have been a crack in the RF rotor... but it was weird. It didn't bust completely loose until the wall contact from what I saw. But that's all we've found wrong so far. I could have sworn it was something in the rear...
We'll figure it out though. I'm just gald that we're starting to get the car working again. We've picked up about a tenth of a second every race in qualifying, so that's at least somewhat encouraging.
I'm just happy to have been able to participate in the one race that I really wanted to be in last year.
Thanks for all the memories Brian.

Well, it's to bad you guys didn't do better after all the anticipation the last couple of weeks. I was hoping to go but last minute things came up and I just said "forgettaboutit"!

The anticipation is the biggest bummer. Good point. We really felt prepared for this race, especially with the extra preparation time.
It wasn't a total loss though. I really feel that things are improving for both the car and it's drivers. And since it broke on around lap 34...we still have good tires on the car and 2 stickers that never got used.

Hey Mike,
I could of used those stickers for the second feature. My tires were junk after I smoked the RR for half of the hundred lapper...LOL!!
