Yes, There are some good wheelmen down here but no better than I seen at AC, we were 4th in points until it blew up so I hope we can go back and put it to em with the new plant, really any of the top ten at AC in FS could come down here and run well, Hickory is old, slick, rough ect. so it can be a handful if your car aint right

Bruce, glad to see you have that very nice seat setup. I know mine saved my butt last year.
Looks more like an older SLM than a SS.
Nice attention to detail!!!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Thanks for all the Positive comments, It means alot coming from Members of MSTRC, It sounds really cool I put an old set of Speedway pipes on it complete with the x pipe, exits both sides kind if gives it that Indy car howl, and it cuts the noise way down, plus I have been going fatter on the main jets every week and it seems to like it, the plugs look good I cant wait till Saturday, its been a month off

Bruce, again you did a great job!
Bruce has built lots of cars for street stock type racing, His Flat rock cars used a metric frame with a camaro front clip and in the rear a racing type 3 link suspension.
Bruce, how many pounds of lead do have in the car? and what are your tracks min weight rules, ( and waht is the driver weights).
Are camaros that are race cars in training( rust free shell) still easy to find? how much for one?

Actually Norm we will be there next week, Lindsay ( my oldest daughter) is finally done will college we will be there from Tuesday till Sunday Morning, Ill look you up we can down a few Bud Lights and tell some lies, Trick I have around 300# of lead in it our weight rule for leaf spring cars is 3300 with driver, im 170# there still are quite a few 2nd gen Camaros around and they are solid, but the price is going up its hard to get anything for less than 1k, im looking for another one to build just so I have a spare, trick it up a little more than my current one,

I LOVE Flat Rock, it is one of if not the Greatest track I have ever raced at, I wish I could move it down here ( along with Ron Drager and all of YOU) I miss it, I also really love racing at AC its so odd and tough to drive it really makes a good driver out of you, these guys down here wouldnt stand a chance there, they would make one lap, smack the wall load up and go home

Yes I can and do use anything in the fab shop, we are a small team employee wise, about 35 people and most are racers, so everyone gets pumped when they see anything other than a Busch car, Steven has Begged me to let him race it he even said he would give me his Debt card with the pin number, for insurance, But the wife says NO WAY! its your car you built, you race it, the over fiow goes to a Jaz tank mounted on the firewall, Again thanks for all the positive comments, I just got my locker back from C&R I have to put it back in, and set the bump steer again, I am starting a backyard project and promised my Sandi I would get it done by her 40th birthday July 30th, its a outdoor bar open but with a roof by our pool here is whats done now, Ive put the racing on hold until August

Bruce, finishing your wifes birthday project before the race car shows how smart you are, and how much you enjoy sleeping inside the house instead of the doghouse.
But I have to ask, after looking at the photo, is the bar larger than the pool?
Yes I have learned well

the pool is 18x33 the bar is 14x16, in that pic it looks as big as the pool, I guess you can never have too big a Bar

Is it gonna be like one of them tiki bars? Gonna have a bar counter all along the outside with stools around it from what it looks like. I built a bar last summer that is probably 1/4 that size but it looks like you have a nice back yard for entertaining. your pool is about as big as my back yard in base housing LOL. all kidding aside I really recomend you plumb it as a wet bar. Drinks are much better when they are in clean glasses and it is a pain to have to go inside to rinse glasses out or to have to change glasses all the time
Oh yeah nice car too. thinking about running Dixieland Speedway in Elizabeth City some nights when I PCS to Virginia Beach but mostly at VMS and occaisionally back up to Potomac, you know anybody that races there, Dixieland that is?

Hey Jake, it will have hot & cold water it will have a hip roof and be enlosed up to the bar stools, then open out the front facing the pool, its kinda like a bar with a deck I guess, Ive never been to Dixieland, how big of a track is it?
PS thanks for your service to our Great country........Bruce

Sounds like a nice bar, I'll tell you what many a time I have made one drink then wished I had running water to wash my shaker,. But it wouldn't make sense to build something like you are till I get my own place. Dixieland is a 3/8 mile dirt up in Elizabeth city. I got to looking at their rules and the next car don't fit unless I wanted to race against guys with brand new Rockets and Mastersbuilts. I guess I may have to stick to VMS, Potomac, Natural Bridge and what not. I just thought maybe there was one more dirt track to run that was actually closer to where I'll be stationed but you have what you have to race with.
Also, you're welcome.
