Ok, what is happening on Wednesdays at Crystal? I was told they are kind of like a small race, then open testing afterwords? Would like to take the late model up tonight for some testing. Also, anyone know if they are still on? Looks like some rain just went through.

They are really good at updating the website. If it's not on crystalmotorspeedway.com, and there's still reason to believe that it's going on, I would email their webmaster he's usually really quick to respond.

I am more worried about the practice deal. We were told it was like an open practice, but I see no mention of it anywhere on the web site.

I know that the Wednesday shows are usually every other week and are put on by the Crystal Lions Club.

The two times I was there this year they allowed the late models to get hot laps at the start of the night, once during the races between the heats and feature, and then again once the races are completed.

I don't see why it would be different this week.

LOL. nope. Maybe next time. We were kinda of given the hint that with the weather, any practice would be secondary to the racing. So, rather than make the drive, we elected to stay home, and get ready for this weekend.
