So, will AutoCity now invite the Dixie cars to race there on Saturdays, including the Sportsman division? What's going to happen to their Friday night shows?

Joe told me his 2008 schedule was set a long time ago and has no plan to change one single thing.

Whaaa? I know for a fact Sportsman were racing every other Friday. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed there are only 3 more Fridays for the Sportsman Division. This IS a revised schedule, and IT did change. It doesn't seem to be permanent and 100% as Ed thought.

So, does anyone really, honestly know if AutoCity is going to do any car division shuffling now that Dixie has moved back to Fridays?

Im not saying I know for sure one way or another. I know Joe and Mike were going to talk, and it is entirely possible Joe made some consessions.

joe is not going to make any concessions because mike wanted joe to give up all friday nights and joe said no because he wasn't the one that changed nights. mike actually thought joe should cancel his two big shows coming up on friday nights just to help him out. joe walked out of the meeting and i don't blame him.

I stand by what I said, and what Joe told me last Saturday night.

Those revisions were before any mention of Dixie switching back. Every track makes revisions, especially during a rain filled season.

OK, but I guess I was under the impression by you saying the season was set 'A long time ago' meant a bit more than 3 weeks ago, that's all. Since you never mentioned WHEN he told you, I was thinking 'A long time ago' was probably before the season began.....

So, in reality he told you the classes weren't going to change as of last last week, then...

I looked at Auto City's web and they have a schedule change, looks like the added LS to a couple more show and took away a Friday night in August.
