ok ok ok I dont know if i should post on here with my mind going a hundred miles and hour...but spencer racing may not be going back to mt pleasant and i need some answers .......So i can talk chad into coming back......
1. Why werent our pit passes from last week used?????? To us that was stupid.........we came to the track last weekend and only seen qualifying and 3 ...4 car dashes.....ok to get paid double this week.....well what about all the people that didnt come last week and only got to race ONE race....bummer for them .....because i talked to a couple of those guys and they said that they may not come back......wow.....I just feel like i was ripped off because it is supposed to be rain policy....i am really upset with having to pay twice.....
2. Who is helping with promote the streetstocks????? Please dont say Crawford???? I feel like someone needs to keep there good eye out for him.......i seen him hit so many people and the same with 06 and the 07.??????? I thought we arent supposed to drive like that?????
3. Why dont mt pleasant start video taping the races....instead of the HE said SHE said crap.....really come on i can name probably 5 times were there should of been a call on someone and it never was....i saw the 7 CAUSE two cautions....BUT they still let him get 3rd..... Im not being a poor sport i just want to come back to mt pleasant and last night was the topper of things.....
And all i have to say if the crawfords read this.......Chad is so nice to you and you are so RUDE.............................To tell someone to LEARN how to build a RACE car or to tell someone to worry about how to get their car in the corner...does it ever rain in your life??

i was there friday night and agree with alot about the street stock feature, especially when jeremy was taken out. Why did they black flag chad?
im not to sure why they black flagged chad.....but thats ok.....and yes it a bad thing for jermey poor guy can never get a break!!
Well I was there to friday night and the whole show was F^%* up. The only reason I can see why they black flagged Chad was he came back out under the green at the wrong end. I have already e-mailed the promoter to try and get some awnsers. I know of a few things that the Crawfords are doing that it says right in the RULE BOOK not to do and they are letting them do it. I have a car thata is almost complete but I am half temted to built it into a pro stock and goto crystal.

Maybe Owendale isn't so bad after all. Go where you want to but eventually any place you go they will do something that makes you angry Crystal will be no exception. The only thing you can do is determine what track has done you the most wrong and leave it in your dust.
yes i agree....but i wouldnt go as far as owendale...there was 24 cars and it was PACKED!!!!
19 Street stocks qualified 7 llm 7 sportsmans and 2 road warriors thats 36 cars stands were pretty full and it was some decent racing. No matter how many tracks you go to you will always have problems of some sort. No track is perfect and they always seem to have their favorites. I wasen't there to give my 2 cents on the situation but it seems like most people so far see it the same way. I do know when we raced at mount pleasant we were told when you go in the pits you don't come back out it could have changed it has been a couple years since we ran there. I say all you guys can do is stand your ground race them hard and hope to come out on top. It sucks enough to have to race some good competition but then when the track seems to be against you too. It makes it almost impossible. Boycotting the track only helps the crawford team that is one of the competitors that they don't have to beat. Stand your ground it will come back around. There is no sense to building a new car for crystal the same thing happens there it happens everywhere. You get bad calls and there are some real jerks that you will have to race with but your team has a lot of respect from a lot of people don't let some new people wreck what you love doing. Chad hits his marks at owendale every corner as long as somebodys not there he is very consistant don't give up.Just my opions of course.

Yes scott.....i agree with you.....but we arent goin back to the streetstock next year i dont think...chad thinks he wants to move up....so thats ok with me....Chad had a talk with his sponsors yesterday and we watched some race tapes and I think we have chad talked back into going back up to mt pleasant.....I agree with its just letting the crawfords win....but its just bull crap that he gets special treatment.....Man sometimes i think what does have in or on his car that beats everyone BY a lap i just dont get it...but its like i wanna say i think his car is illegal but it would be nice if the things in the rule applied to the 7 car.....i hear there is some things on his car that the is wrong and it says in the rule book but the guy at the races that looks at the car because there is no inspector.....he let it be alright....well i dont get that but thats just my thought.....

The rules for the pits are becuase of safety and yes running for points you want to get back out there and get as many as possible but in doing so you put a lot of people in danger to rush to get to your pit then to rush to get the tire on then to try to get back to the track not to mention entering the racing surface. As for Chad moving up that would be cool it's nice to see him progress through the ranks and do good. It would be cool if you could make it Owendale its nice to see some competition for Puvalowski.

Well I’m new to this site, just ran across it, but definitely not new to racing. I grow up watching 007 run Mt. Pleasant Speedway, as well as Merritt Speedway. So you can say dirt tracks are in my blood.
I would like to address the smack about the racing in the Street Stock Division at Mt. Pleasant Speedway, in my opinion.
First issue "Who is helping with promote the streetstocks????? Please dont say Crawford???? I feel like someone needs to keep there good eye out for him.......i seen him hit so many people and the same with 06 and the 07.??????? I thought we arent supposed to drive like that?????"
Reply: I’m not sure how it looks from the pits, but the racing is usually pretty good in Street Stock from where I sit in the stands. Crawford (7) was put to the back for causing the caution, and he raced his way up to third, with a damaged car. The second caution you seem to refer to in: "i saw the 7 CAUSE two cautions....BUT they still let him get 3rd..... Im not being a poor sport i just want to come back to mt pleasant and last night was the topper of things....." was not of his own doing, he was hit from behind which put him into Spencer (39), but Spencer (39) was almost stopped in the corner because he was so sideways. In my book that was good a race.
The next issue: "They have such a good car and they still are the way they are.........

I have to say, I heard that Chad was in Crawford’s pit before Crawford could get out of his car after the feature race. Who’s in who’s pit????? Talking CRAP.

Crawford Jr. kept his cool, while Spencer kicked and beat the CRAP out of the Crawford's car with his fists. I’m not sure what break the poor guy needs.

Reply: Wasn’t this the first week of 4 cars for Crawford Team? The fourth car didn’t seem to being running well, so I wouldn’t count that in the mix. It seems that a couple of weeks ago, when Crawford Jr. (06) took first, and Crawford Sr. (7) took second, three Spencer cars show up at the next race. The Crawford team competes against each other, as does the Spencer brothers. It’s racing.
I found the article about Mt. Pleasant Speedway in the Morning Sun, June 18, 2008, and Spencer stated he wants to go where there is competition, am I to assume the competition is too tough. Correct if I’m wrong, but didn’t Crawford (7) win the 2007 championship in the Street Stock Division last year with a single car team. It was his first year back after a 6 to 7 year lay-off.

Reply: I watched from the stands last year also and can’t count how many times Crawford voluntarily lifted his hood. Ah… a thought, maybe Crawford is just a very good driver, as well as a car builder and a mechanic. He doesn’t win every race, but does he whine, or write smack about the driver that does, NO. Crawford is good, and he knows how to get around a race track.
Everyone comes to win, and part of racing is accepting defeat with dignity. There is only one winner per race, and those who do not win, should not whine. When Crawford loses, does he pull into the pits any differently, no. Some drivers pull into the pits hot, spin ect… Crawford just pulls in the same whether he wins or loses.
Maybe Spencer should worry more about his own equipment, than Crawford’s.
Again it is just my opinion but, if someone has to buy Lawrence Sprague’s championship car to win a championship, they probably don’t know the intricacies of building a championship car.
It is rumored that Crawford’s (7) car will be for sale after the points season has ended. Bring a certified check and an empty trailer to the last race and you can haul away another championship car.

Ok I'm not sure if I wanna get into this anymore but here it goes. Yes Crawford is a good driver and a good car builder but it might be nice if his car was legal. I know his is not legal and I know of quite a few more. I think all the street stock drivers might wanna get out there rule books and make sure they mind there p's and q's. When the rule book says not to do it and its done there is a problem.

Wow, I thought we were the only ones to have issues Friday night, LOL.
We checked the line up board for the heats. Duplicate car numbers in the first heat. OK, obvious question, which one is which? The reply from the gentleman standing there writing them down? "I do not f%*^#$g know". So, I asked him to find out for us. His reply was hitting the board with his clipboard, and then saying, "There is the line-up. Deal with it."
All I could think was 'Wow". So, I told my driver to line up in the fourth position, rather than the ninth, and see what happens. We beat the other car there, and started fourth. Still do not know if it was right or not.
Feature time. Moving up through the field nicely. Two cars tangle, and spin in turn two, caution comes out. We slow down, and get run over from behind. Was able to keep going. We should have restarted third, but the tower somehow came up with idea we caused the caution. The two cars who spun, and the car who ran us over got their spots back. Keep in mind, these first two cars were way ahead of us, and the caution was out for a good 7-8 seconds before we got hit from behind. Ok, I can understand the caution cars start at the tail. But when you are not sure who the actual caution car was, I guess it is easier to blame the non regular, and send him to the tail. There was no way you could even come up with us being the caution car in that deal. Oh well, bad calls happen from time to time I guess.
Everyone pitted near us was real nice and friendly. But boy we sure seem to tear alot of stuff up at that track. I can deal with a scoring mistake, even as bad as that one was. We checked the line up board for the heats. Duplicate car numbers in the first heat. OK, obvious question, which one is which? The reply from the gentleman standing there writing them down? "I do not f%*^#$g know". So, I asked him to find out for us. His reply was hitting the board with his clipboard, and then saying, "There is the line-up. Deal with it."
All I could think was 'Wow". So, I told my driver to line up in the fourth position, rather than the ninth, and see what happens. We beat the other car there, and started fourth. Still do not know if it was right or not.
Feature time. Moving up through the field nicely. Two cars tangle, and spin in turn two, caution comes out. We slow down, and get run over from behind. Was able to keep going. We should have restarted third, but the tower somehow came up with idea we caused the caution. The two cars who spun, and the car who ran us over got their spots back. Keep in mind, these first two cars were way ahead of us, and the caution was out for a good 7-8 seconds before we got hit from behind. Ok, I can understand the caution cars start at the tail. But when you are not sure who the actual caution car was, I guess it is easier to blame the non regular, and send him to the tail. There was no way you could even come up with us being the caution car in that deal. Oh well, bad calls happen from time to time I guess.
Everyone pitted near us was real nice and friendly. But boy we sure seem to tear alot of stuff up at that track. I can deal with a scoring mistake, even as bad as that one was. Ok yes i did say that......but its just not on my own doings....alot of people think that...not just I....so yes i was talking smack ok but i will be a big person and admit i was in the wrong for putting someone down.....but in my mind frame then i felt like it was what i wanted to say...sorry for putting it that way....Yes not a problem thanks for posting but i thought about the buying a champion car was probably not a great thing to say.....
I seem to get a little carried away at some times talking about racing...i do admit that lol.....Crawford does have his stuff together no lie there.... I just feel sometimes he treats chad and others like crap...but you know everyone sometime gets a little bit of special treatment....But somehow in different ways....And with crawford i just feel like hes really rude to our team.....i dont know if thats just him being him or not.....i just know that he has come down to out pit and told of things that i would HOPE chad would never go and say to someone....i would think he was tryin to brag about things and chad is not like that...let me tell you something also i believe chad would love to ask how crawford is so fast.....but hes been around for a long time...i remember chad saying he cant wait for when he is that age and he hopes he is as good as for example rich robinson jr.....
we did buy lawerences car....but let me tell you we NEVER thought we WOULD EVER win a championship... it was really the best part in chads racing career.......so im sorry again for offending any of the crawfords....or his fans...because i just wanted to share my thoughts....
also i understand what you are saying about jermey 36 he does have a temper but he also is a good racer..... thanks again to everyone and sorry
