I was so glad to be a part of ( opening nite) at Owosso. Great fireworks and, great racing. I was really glad to have to park way out in the grass... I haven't seen that in years. What a good feeling.
Keep up the good work guys, good things will keep coming.
Also... good job to Dick Mauer, I thought you had 'em. And, good job to Super Dave on calling the street stock feature... Not bad for your first WHOLE race. I enjoyed the entire evening.

There was a great crowd at the big "O" last night. Nice to see the track looking so good again. A big pat on the back to all those that cleaned up and help to make the place look good again.

Great job Big O it's nice to have someone run the track that respects it's drivers and the fans.

I showed up late, just before the mod feature. But when I walked in and actually saw the first decent crowd in years, it put a nice smile on my face. I hope this is just the surface of the good things to come.

Indeed big congrats to the staff and ownership of the big O. I dont think you could have asked for a better 1st night. 56 cars and side by side racing in all classes. The mod feature really stood out as a killer race. Billy and Dick fought to the last lap. Rick stood out by the gate shaking the hand of every fan as they left the track. Outstanding job guys. Looking forward to being a racer here for Saturday nights. I will still run at AC on Fridays and some other shows but my plan for Sat nights is Owosso. I wish they ran another night than Sat so I could run Sat. at AC, but I have always wanted to race at Owosso, and now is the best opportunity with the increase in pay. Casey made about 120 bucks Sat. Thats a good night for our class. Awsome job!

I want to say congrats to Rick, Jennie, Jeff, and Pam on running an A+ show saturday. From behind the scenes they made our jobs easy to run a great show. Best crowd I have seen at the ol girl in years, and a great car count. I believe 2 weeks ago for a normal show we only had 24 cars for 4 classes, so saturdays field made me have to work a little

Hopefully the rest of the season is as great as "opening" night.

Over the last few years, there has only been a handful of people in the stands. When we pulled out on the track for the heat race, I was amazed at all the fans in attendance. There were so many people waving and cheering that my eyes weren't used to trying pick out faces so I just waved to everyone . It would be nice to assume that maybe MORE fans will show up this week for autograph night, Alex and I picked up some good candy to pass out. Autograph night is always one of my favorites. You should have come down in the pits afterwards and said hello. I seen the flounder only once threw out the night, and that was heading out on the track for the photo shoot. (he is easily tricked, by the oldest trick in the book )

The attendance was awesome, sitting up in the tower I couldn't believe how many people were there. Most nights I can peer down and pick out certain people I know, but Saturday I was having a tough time looking for my mom and kids down there in turn one. Plus for the first time in years, I had a tough time finding my car in the parking lot after the races.....


P.S. Laci, just to let you know the only cars your "littlest" fan was interested in was the Mods.....LOL must have known you were out there.
