I would like to thank Rodney and company from Palatka Electric for spending some time on our lighting system here at Owosso.
The turns and back stretch are an improvement over the way it was. They spent several hours here tonight aiming and changing bulbs. We hope you drivers can enjoy the difference. I know the fans will.
If you see Rodney in the stands take a moment to thank him. He did this to save the track money and that leaves us more in the end for driver programs.

You Jeff, Pam Rick & Jennie have some true believers. Proof of that are the folks that show up evening after evening to volunteer their time in order to improve the BIG O. I have total respect for these folks and am able to help out from time to time.
Got home on Wednesday eve and my wife thought I had been in a blood bath (red paint from Female lavatories), so to add insult to injury I told her that I had a round or two with the paint brush. Oh yeah, THE PAINT BRUSH WON! He He.
I will be unable to occupy the ticket taking duites this Saturday due to family obligations but certainly wanted to wish you dedicated people - - - - - - - - GOOD LUCK AND GO GET EM!

That's exciting, I cannot wait for our divisions first nite under new ownership. I'm so proud to be a part of such an exciting time at my favorite track. You guys and gals are doing an excellent job thus far, and I'm confident you will continue to.

Rodney was here really late the other night and is coming in before work Friday morning to get even more things done. He has a great work ethic.

The swing set looks nice where you, Super Dave and Shawn were all working on it. Ron Spencer and family hung new swings for the kids this evening.

Super Dave had a bunch of newspaper clippings from the 60's and 70's from Owosso and Auto City here last night. I would love to have some of those made into copies to hang around our concourse area. They were great. I could look at that stuff for hours.
