It's kinda funny, people keep saying that we will be closing, yet after this week we will be half way through the 2008 season and we have not closed, nor will we until the season is over. Some day those people will realize that almost 100% of the rumors are just that.... rumors!!! The rumor mill has a small audience, keep that in mind. It really hasn't hurt us, even on a bad night we still have more fans than some other tracks are getting.

Having said all that, we are gonna give everyone what they want.... big changes are coming!!!

Everyone's ideas are gonna get put to the test after this week.... gate price will be $5, (5 and under will still be free) pit passes will be $20. Rules will be opened up in the pro stock class where weight can be added for the Kzoo cars. (you guys gonna come race with us now???? It will never be easier or cheaper) Pure stocks will be allowed to run center dumps with a weight penalty for the rest of the year. Hot dogs will be a buck. We are going to make dramatic changes and the debate will be over. We will know the answer to the pro stock issues... will they come if the rules are opened up? Will lowering the gate price attract more fans? Will a lower pit pass bring more cars?

We will still run the August 22nd open wheel show, the gate price will be $15 in lieu of $20 though. (we really need your support on this night, it will be tough to make ends meet without a great turn-out) Everything else on the schedule will be a regular racing program with three classes.

If there are any other ideas you guys have, now is the time to speak. If not, hold on because we are gonna try something that no other track has ever done. We ask for your support in this effort and know that we are working very hard to combat this terrible economy and sky high gas prices. Look for an official press release on Friday and for us to plug this like nothing you have ever seen!!!
