I am changing from a 27mm sway bar to 30mm sway bar on my street car and I am wondering if I can still use the same sway bar bushings. I bought new end links and was going to buy new bushings, but no one has them stocked and I want to get it done tomorrow.

Thanks,

Derek

Chances are that there is enough wear in the old bushings to accept that bar without a problem. Clean all the corrosion out of the brackets though. the corrosion takes up a lot of space in the cars that I have worked on. Polish them down and get some silicone paste in there to help it go together. The kind of silicone paste that is for spark plug boots, or brake pads. You should be able to buy a little one-use packet...if not, pm me your mailing address and I'll send you one.
