another great night of racing saturday night at oakshade. car count was down just a bit but still good with 48 cars showing. the big winner for the night was matt miller who grew up racing at oakshade. jeep van wormer was 2nd, and summernationals champ dennis erb was 3rd. kris patterson started outside front row and ended up in the top 10. rusty seaver made the a-main as well. racetrack was in perfect condition as 2 and 3 wide racing was common all night long. all around another enjoyable night at one of the best dirt tracks around!!

Seaver didn't make the main event. He finished 2nd in one of the consi races. Looks like they started 21 cars, 4 from each heat, took 1 from each of the 3 B-mains and there was 1 or 2 provisionals.

Rusty Seaver did make the a main and finished the race running all thou several laps down, Olger made the feature by finishing 2nd in his heat. Top 3 transfered to a in 4 12 cars heats 3 thru 6 went to b main rest to two c mains with top 6 going to b main. always good to have a little shade in the middle of summer i have been to this race six years straight.car count was down 21 from last year. I love the prices 1$ hot dogs and 50 cent pop corn you cant beat it . Wes Had them covered till he twisted his drive shaft going into turn 1 on lap 32 of 60. GREAT JOB Kris Patterson winning heat 4
