We are bummed with full fields of mods and late models this evening would have been an awesome show.

Springport had cancelled early in the day and Linda and I were heading out for a night of being race fans at The Big O. It had been quite a long time!!! Had the cooler full, and was on our way when Super Dave called me and said it was raining hard and had been cancelled.

We were bummed, and just turned around and headed home. We should of just kept going and headed to Crystal, but ASSUMED no one was racing. Shame on us!!!

There was plenty of bench racing in the tech garage tho!!!

Wow my gamble paid off. I was teetering back and forth wether to go or not. I couldnt justify spending the gas and pit passes for the kids when it was so likely to rain. Ill be at R&R this weekend but Ill be back the week after see you all then. I will have the car ready to race this next trip back.

lol thats funny i think if the tracks were dirt u wouldent half to cancel i think crystal has once this year like sat. night it was stormong all the way around. i hit rain all the way up 127 to 57got to the corner in carson city to turn north the wet roads stoped.

I saw your car headed up M-52 in Owosso. We had an open house to go to, and then planned to go to the Big O to spectate just like Big Ed. Bummer would've been a dern good nite of racin'.
I often have the same dillemma.... to go... not to go... I'm always the one to get there... and it STARTS raining. I guess sometimes I should try your method stinkfist, and perhaps save some gas money.
I hope to see that many cars this weekend. Especially some FWD mini stocks HINT,HINT.
