Just wondering if someone could let me know what the deal is?

Are the mods running?? I know they were not originaly scheduled to run but since the Super show is cancelled are they?

Also I have seen no mention of the dwarf cars being there but our schedule says Owosso Speedway- July 26th.

Sure would like to know so I can get our cars ready for this saturday if that is the case.

I know they canceled the Dwarf Cars

The Owosso Speedway's schedule has Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Stock's every week with Mini-Stock's scheduled every other week.

It is too bad that Owosso feels they have to run mods on the 26th, as that is the date that has been scheduled for a long time for Racin & Rockin.

I know dates of most tracks were looked at before picking the 26th and Owosso did not have mods on the original schedule.

Maybe they could think about running the dwarfs that night as they were already on the schedule.

There are some of the mods that have been or would have been going to Owosso that run this show every year, that have already made plan's to be @ Springport.

Too bad the class has to be split up for the 4th year of this annual event.

i am pretty sure i heard jeff say that IF they run the mods on the 26th it will be a NONE points night

We are working on smoothing out these scheduling transitions right now.

When we took over the track we listed normal nights of racing for the rest of the season, simply to have something listed for the rest of the year.

We did not feel compelled to run against racing and rocking or any other event.

We have mod guys and late model guys that have had sheduled nights off that we are working on.

Expect an announcement soon. Our schedule has in its legalize subject to change at any time, and there are some changes we have to iron out.

We thank everyone that has made to trip to Owosso. We have had some beautiful turnouts in cars and are extremely pleased.

What about those who are not going to R&R? I don't think many regulars are going as far as I know. With all the ANgola and K-zoo cars they should be ok with out us

I agree with Dick how many guys are really going to that so called R&R i don't race that class but i'm pretty sure thier is way more guys not going than thier are ones that are going. I'm not saying anything bad about that race at all i wish them the best of luck but owosso needs to do whats best for Owosso and it's fans

I am not going to R & R But I would sure like to race Owosso Sat night.26th. I don't think the Owosso cars are heading down that way anyway. I am sure Owosso would have 15 mods at least with or without R&R running. I would think the fans with rain passes and alot of the 21 mod drivers and crews there sat would like to see Mods run this sat.

We will make the trip up there soon as I luv that old track. Was going yesterday, but the weather was just too much of a chance to take @ 4.25 per gal and 130 mile round trip. As it worked out, it saved me some tire money.

Had the weather been better, there would have been at least 4 mods from this area make the trip.

Rick would have been real pleased to see 25 mods in the pits, which would have made other tracks very jealous I'm sure.

Some of YOU are correct, we will get along just fine without you. I see Kazoo is now running mods beacause of all the rain outs, but it will be a non points race as it was not on the regular schedule.
