Because of all the variations that had taken place in the rules we eliminated the overbore rule when we took over the track on July 5th.
Stock Factory Block any overbore with Stock Stroke is the pure stock bore stroke rule at Owosso.
There will be a strict exhaust rule implemented for the 2009 season in the pure stocks. It will be on pace with what other facilities are doing.
If people feel compelled to be building large cubic inch motors it will not help when going through very small chimneys.
The stock lift cam rule is still very much in place and measures are being taken to provide an accurate checking device.
We will be looking at things like exhaust manifolds, exhaust ports, valve bowls, rocker ratios, lifters and similar very, very soon.
