Joe has put up 500 bucks to any lead sled that can beat Lonnie on Friday or Saturday night. I will try to give it a shot tonight.

I know a few guys willing to "take someone out" for half the bounty. I know it's wrong, but think about it. This sounds like a recipe for diasater. That is alot of money for a LS bounty. LJ has every right to be upset over this, Joe just put a huge target on his car.

Easy everyone. Joe is paying $500 to beat LJ, not wreck him. He's just trying to draw some of the cars going to Dixie for the $300 to win. Unless things have changed i thought this was all in good fun, we always try to beat LJ. Someone will drop in a bullet and beat him, and i bet they will only weigh the cars. Just my prediction. Remember it's only racing LOL

This bounty information was released at Race Talk, at Beyond Cool, Wednesday night.
It was $300 from Joe, and $100 for Mr. Belott. Someone else has evidently added 100 bucks to it.
Lonnie has to start the race, run it, and finish it without someone purposely taking him out. If that happens, no bounty money will be paid. Not sure on the ruling if he has mechanical problems. And of course, track management will be the judge and jury in any possible situations involving Buzz Saw, and the feature race.
It was also said that if Lonnie wins the feature HE gets half of the bounty.
I think this bring a new level of excitement to this class. Good luck and have some fun you guys!!!

I think we have a group who know and respect one another. No one is going to intentionally dust anyone. For the most part racing is clean at the city. Rough, but clean. Freeman is the one who put up the extra 100. How classy is that. Dude puts a hundy on any one who can beat his grandson.

I didn't mean to imply that he was upset. I can see how he could be, and the potential is there for something to get out of hand. Even a real racing mistake can be mistaken for dirty driving under these conditions.
IMHO that is a big bounty. I know every one that races agaist him, or anyone else, wants to win. I wasn't trying to say anything bad about anybody, just exploring the thought.

Bounty was defended. Good luck to those of you who give it a shot. Boys fast. Just to let you know Cam Joe made it clear that Lonnie had to finish for the bounty to be awarded.
