Hey Dan, Alex really wanted to race at Springport, we tried hard to get them to let us to come race but the age thing is a killer sometimes. Jim L. was very helpful and gave all he could to let us go. But it just didnt play out. There is always next year. Looked liked you were having fun in that 74 car.

Racin and Rockin was Great! The races were good, the food was great, the party was awesome and several generous people donated lots of random contingency awards.

Chad Decker won the Pure Stock (First ever feature win)

Robbie Reiser won the FWD portion of the Pure Stock race (First ever feature win)

Edson Rowley III won the Pony Stocks

Leroy Ellis won the Mods

Thanks to everyone who made this race happen, it was a great time.

And a personal thanks to Shinde, Dennis O’Neil and Doug Allen and his wife for donating extra contingency money that I received! I appreciate it.

Oh boy, I had a blast. I was happy Jim and RickJr. told me that, that's about all the car was capable of. It sure was fun. Way more fun than a Mini, You actually have to DRIVE. We all know that minis are a momentum class. I wasn't flyin by any means, but I sure love having to be up on the wheel. I guess that may have sounded bad... You do have to DRIVE a mini, but you know what I mean lol.

Can anyone give car counts and who had fast time in each division.

Keith,

23 or 24 mods, Leroy Ellis was fast time. 12 or so Sportsman I think, Ron Henney was fast time.

That had to be one of fastest and tightest field of mod feature cars I have ever seen at Springport.

We had a couple of cautions, but except for a couple of cars the field was very tight.

Last corner got very intersting as Perry had the lower pulley come off the 6d and take out the lower hose and punch a hole in the rad, thus laying down a water slick. I know 2-3 cars in front of me looked like they were on dirt coming out of 4 and Gavin spun right behind me, so I heard.

The fast time awards made by Dyno Chick were really cool. Ron Henny told me he usually gives his trophy's away, but will keep this one, as you can't buy one like those.

Sorry don't have the rest, I'm sure others will fill in the blanks.

That is a nice field of mods. Looks like Leroy cleaned house this weekend. He has the Wild Child 100 and now R&R IV. Sounds like it was a good race. I'm sure Jack is happy.
