The wild and wacky race-a-thon that Kalamazoo Speedway featured last week has been the talk of the racing community for the past 3 days, and to help keep the momentum going strong, Kalamazoo Speedway is pleased to announce the following special race day activities for this coming Saturday, August 2nd.
A full 5 in 1 show, featuring Late Models, Modifieds, Short Track Trucks, the Pure Stock $1000 to win Cash Bash, and just announced will be the $750 to win Sportsman Special.
The “Sportsman Special” is presented by Russell Automotive, and will pay $750 to the winner. As a special invite to all non-regular drivers (any driver that has raced 3 times or less in 2008), the three highest finishing non-regular drivers will receive cash bonuses of 100- 75- 50 respectively, sponsored by Russell Automotive. This is a non points race for the regular Zoo drivers.
The Pure Stock Cash Bash will pay $1000 to win and $100 to start the “A” Main and will also have $$$$ perks for the highest top three finishing non-regular drivers. If you have raced 3 times or less this year, in the Pure Stock Class, these top 3 drivers will receive bonus cash of $100, $75, $50 as well. That makes it a possible $1100 to win event or even a $200 to start Pure Stock race for the highest placing non-regular driver.
Late Models, Modifieds, and Short Track Trucks; what else needs to be said about these power horses, as these three classes would be worth the price of admission by themselves.
To help you out with feeding the family, we are offering $1 hot dogs and $1 popcorn specials for the entire evening.
Kids-Kids-Kids - all kids 11 years and younger are Free-Free-Free. Grab your parents; tell them that hot dogs are only a buck and that you won’t cost them anything, so you want to spend this Saturday night at Kalamazoo Speedway.
There will be plenty of racing action, plenty of giveaways in the stands, including 2 children’s bikes, the food is good and it’s cheap; what else could you possibly need to fill your need for speed and for good quality family entertainment. Adults are $12, teens 11-15 are $8, and kids 11 & younger are free. Pit gates open at 1 PM, hot laps will start at 3 PM, qualifying at 5:30, and the hottest racing action anywhere will begin at 7 PM sharp, only at the Kalamazoo Speedway.
