I have been informed that the weight rule has been changed.
All cars have to weigh 3300 with a max of 55% left side,
So much for my campaign to get a weight break for crate motors.

When are tubular upper control arms going to be added?
IMO, They should... if they were I'd run my chassis next year, but if they are not going to allow them, I won't change back over. If you can move the stock mounting plate already to get your proper lengths and angles I dont see why you couldnt make it CHEAPER and easier for one to get it correct without a bunch of welding and such --- $60-70.00 for a new control arm and balljoint, while you pay $75-100 for a stock upper, bushings and balljoints.

Kyle, I agree with you,
why dont you just put a pseudo plate over top of yours.
Just cover them up
cant see them from on top
they are not there
since when has any"stock"car been equipped with adjustable rear trailing arms?
dont get me started

so can I go from 54% up to 55% left side? Nothing personal but it used to be in our rules that all altered frame cars had to weigh 3300 w/ 54% left side. some how it got ommitted and what should have gotten ommitted was interchanging of sub frames. too late now. Also, unaltered 108" small metrics used to get a weight break because the geometry is not as good as most other cars. these cars should be 3200. maybe the 112" unaltered chevelles and 116" monte's should be 3250 or what ever they are allowed to run as FS at dixie.

hopefully i'll be a tad quicker this week
glad you are finally making it back,

lol...You must have painted over it! we banged doors in 3&4 the only night I ran there this year. This we be the most smoke I've ever had. I just hope I can get it to the ground.I'm still on last years tires. I should be in the low 6's, I'd rather be solidly in the 5'S.
