Sunday August 10th, 2008 we will host the 2nd annual Mod (IMCA, MMA, Ump) $1055.00 memorial race at MMRP Race Park. Raindate to be August 17th, 2008. Also will host a Street stock (hobby) invitational $455.00, and 4cyl. invitational $255.00. All classes are based on a 30 car count. Gates will open at 2:30p.m., Hot laps at 3:30p.m.-4:30p.m., Driver meeting at 4:45 with racing at 5:00p.m. There is a $25.00 registration for all classes. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Flyers are made and will be going out to all of the tracks this week, we can also email you one if you would like.
You will draw for position when you register at the pit booth. You will redraw for the main event. Racecievers are not required.
Gene is handling the information for the Street/hobbies I do know a few things and they are 2BL., seat back add 50lbs., motor back add 100lbs., stock suspension. All normal track rules apply.
Mods, you may run any IMCA, MMA, or UMP tire. Normal track rules apply.
We will giving out extra items as we did last year for all drivers (engine cleanings, fuel or alcohol, tools, pit passes, corn harvest reg and pit passes, gift cards to parts stores and other items. Also concession items to everyone. Items will be given out in grandstands along with bikes for the kids.
We are starting a little earlier this year so that we can get out at a better time to allow people to get home at a better time.

A addition to the event has been added. 4cyls. will also have a invitational and it will pay $255.00 to win this is also based on 30 car count and registration also pertains to this class also. Will be added to flyers on Monday, so if you see a flyer and it is not on there. New ones are being printed.
