Stearns got hosed!!! He didn't get the bounty money because the M15 car didn't finish the race.

Well what happened was after LJ got sent to the rear he spun-out all by himself on purpose, First time all year of course. Pretended his car would'nt start, got pushed in and was seen by 2 people hurry and lift his hood and unplug his distributor. Chris went over and plugged it in and it ran just fine. His Dad was telling him if he got sent to the rear to pull off so we did'nt get the bounty,Instead of pulling off he pretended his car was broke so you tell me. Pretty obvious to all the fans and officials so we'll wait and see how Mr. Dewitt handles it.We did get told that we might get it after he talks to some people on monday We'll see. Hopefully he does whats right. If the car don't sell this week there will be more in the future.

Chris this is Lonnie Sr., You know the one who loaned you the right rear tire youre running on right now. You should be thanking Lj not bad mouthing him. He tapped out or both of you would have went to the rear because that was the call they already made. As far as loosing his hook-up, I dont think so. If your car was so good and so fast, then why did LJ out qualify you, and how did you spin out 3 times in one race. If your car handles so good, and is so fast,how was anyone able to catch you in the corners. Because once LJ would have passed you, and believe me he would have, you would have never caught him in the corners or the straightaways, he would have checked out just like he always does. The reason they were putting you to the rear with LJ was because they could clearly see you were doing lots of brake checking that night because you knew you were about to get passed. As for his distributer,when you brake checked him, his distributer was obviously not plugged in all the way because of my lack of maintenence.When he spun out it came the rest of the way unplugged. Dont care what other people think they saw, all we did was lift the hood to check what was wrong.Saw the distributer was unplugged and left it that way for the officials to see. So as far as you and the M1 driver thinking YOU got hosed, youre both wrong and youre both supposed to be Ljs friend. Might be some jealousy from the both of you because theres a good chance LJ is going to win 3 championships in 1 year.
Friday and Saturday at Auto City and Sunday at Spartan. Chris, I think of you as one of my own kids, but unfortunatly you have a reputation for being a dirty driver in every class youve ever ran in. Ask anyone in the pits about that. Also ask anyone in the lead sled class and theyll tell you nobody drives cleaner than LJ. And while youre at it ask them if theres anyone in the pits in any class that will loan parts, tires or help with setup or any advice LJ can possibly offer. Our team is willing to help anyone. You should be thanking LJ beause if he had not tapped out you would have never won the feature, even the officials I talked to said LJ should have never tapped out but thats the kind of friend LJ is, and thats how you treat a friend. As far as the M1, you werent even in that race so mabey you should keep your opinion to yourself because you were supposed to be LJs friend too. Some friend you turned out to be. Seems like the 2 people making the biggest deal about it are the 2 that are selling their cars and getting out of the class anyway.
No hard feelings, see everyone next week and well all try again. In the meantime, try to learn how to race clean and if you win the bounty with clean racing , well be the first ones out there to congratulate you. After all, someone will win it eventually, wed love to see it won by a red car or a friend.

Gotta tell ya Lonnie thats a good attemp to try and justify what happened but thats OK. As far as brake checking thats not what he was doing,car was tight in center just like I told you earlier that day so he slowed to keep the bottom. If LJ was that much faster he should have drove around him but he tried and could'nt so he bumped him a little to hard and thats what happened. Don't know if you remember but I was the one at the fence with you when you told LJ what you did, So call it the way ya want that OK too. And as far as the distributor goes I think I know who put the locking plug on the power wire cause it was me so chances of it coming unplugged are verry very slim. Its kinda funny three fast cars were sent to the rear for "spinning" the 28 car. I dont care what youu say that is break checking. Thats not slowing down or no one would have hit him. You can get your car woed up if the guy is just slowing down, but if hes mashing the brake in the middle of the corner your probably going to hit him.

Chad, were you driving my car, I don't think so. By the way, when your the leader, you make cars go around you, even if it does mean slowing down almost to a stop because your car is so tight. If you want me to show you brake checking, plan on buying a new radiator. You just started racing and you don't know much about it. OK. Keep your mouth out of it. Nothing to do with you. Just like all the other BS you get yourself into on here.

Name one time that LJ EVER spun out by himself before in his career. Just one. You guy's know you are playin a little game to get a RED car to win, but truth is he only tapped out because he already plannned on NOT FINISHING! And as far as blocking the bottom, LJ will never drive around me, he already admitted, I'm the only car he CAN'T pass on outside. It wasn't obvious at all. For once, he did what you told him to do. I guess we could have both went to the back and let maybe the 7 car win, with the motor that was suppose to be "Sold." Not too hard to come up at midnight on Monday, Paint it red, and put it in. I've been around this racing game way too long and it's starting to get old. And as for the reason Joe and I are selling our cars, is because of the games that you "Red Gang" is playing. And I'm not including the WHOLE red team, theres a couple that aren't happy with ya etiher.

You havent worked on the M15 car for a long time other than helping us out in a tight spot with the rear end and we paid you just like any other customer. If you remember right, you didnt change the motor. Big Chad, Nick and Ricky did and Chris helped some too. And as far as the comment about Chris saying Lj will never drive around him, he has all season. But you have to be so careful passing Chris because 9 out of 10 times hes gonna take you out when you try. That goes back to his dirty driving reputation. Also Chris, how many times have you tapped out when youve spun your best friend Lj out on purpose. NEVER. Last week was last week, lets go back to being friends and go racing this weekend.

Remember when the carrier blew apart... we didn't have to open the shop on Saturday, and use the hoist, and what not. What about all the times in the late model changing gears, not being able to leave until 3:30 when my car is at track waiting etc. I believe I put this motor in, Chad helped a little bit, and then left. If I recall, Nick was not even there. I'm a loss of words on the 9 out of 10 times thing.... You guy's must not be watching the same race as everyone else. Dirty Driving Reputation LMAO,,,, Thats why I had the whole body of my late model off right. I believe the same panels were on that car when we sold it last week, that were when we put it together. I think, don't quote me but the Factory Stock in 2006 had 28 or so races on it, with the end of the year 50 lapper at Winchester with 34 cars, and never had to change a panel. I did tap out last week when I got hooked with Ricky, so there goes your therory that I never tap out. Theres a lot of room on the outside, like at Winchester, gotta have the balls to use it. Other than that get used to me stopping in the corner, protecting the bottom, forcing you to spin me.

Caution is flying, gotta change some brakes, a fuel filter, and get a new set of Formula Indy 500 on the ride. maybe a splash o' fuel.

First off Lonnie there isn't a M1 car. I don't care about any of the on track stuff, no matter what happened out there it doesn't give you the right to pull that fake broken down bull$hit . Yes you are right i wasn't in the race, guess where i was at???? In the pits.

Thanks but no thanks Chris I will not shut my mouth. I was in the race, and Im not saying you not getting the bounty was the right decision. In fact I think you should have gotten it, but i question your tactics. If anyone needs to shut there mouth they are both sitting in a garage on state Rd. You both continually run your mouth until something happens. Then you cry when it does. It happens over and over and over. Its tired. You should really take a look at how both of you are percieved by the community you choose to be a part of. Cant even begin tell you how many people think you guys are out of line most of the time. You both need to grow up.

You missed the point Chris I think you should have been paid the bounty. I just think you should try to be more careful with your words. I have no beef with you or your dad, but you both tend to let your anger get the best of you. I think that if you didn't do that your life would be much easier. This conversation is about racing, and what happened Sat. not morals. This portion of the conversation needs to be left alone for sure. This is not the place to air extremely personal information. This can cause some serious problems.

People can't really complain about what Chris did, I think he knows LJ's line about as well as LJ knows LJ's line. $600 to win is a pretty hefty payoff, people tend to get a little loopy about that kind of money to win a led sled race. That's just the nature of the beast. As the money went up, it was going to get harder and harder for LJ to win, that was the point wasn't it? Personally, I think the bounty should only be void if LJ went off on the hook because somebody took him out. The track makes all of the other decisions on the 1/4 mile, they should be able to make that one also.

i get your point chad but i also get chris's i was there the day the bounty started and we all talked about him just pullin off it is no ones falt but his i could see if he was crashed out or something like that but we all knew what was going to happen but u have to plan it that way its auto city we left there because the b/s and havent looked back owosso is the new pleace to be never had as much fun u cant buy the track there
